Just rechecked all.
Pcm plug to omp plug...continuity test all good no breaks in loom
Continuity test pcm plugs to omp switch all good.
Voltage on plugs as specified.
Both omp windings checked and ok.
20 brake stomp didnt clear it.
Recheck switch going on Off....
So happy loom is ok and my spare omp is untested as came with the donor engine...so wait for other to turn up and try that....

Yep been for a blast and few ignition cycles all good....still running hotter than usual ...think ill flush the rad and block tomoz and add some more ducting ready for Forge.

Yep must be an internal fault with omp itself....all checks as per Mazda TSM good...phew as if didnt work i was clueless.
In other news just pulled the rad pack on my scooby and thought id remove the cambelt covers for a little looksee...despite there being a cambelt change sticker under bonnet the make does not tally the genuine subaru 1 fitted....and marked up changed 20 k ago so sum 1 fibbing.....ill have todo belt....its an old dog but its my old dog....

Scooby rad done n bled up...took for a blast...uniroyal rainsport 3! Drives like it dry...
Now onto Westory....flush the cooling system and some more ducting.

woohoo, full on day off tinkerage. If id know Strictly Come Dancing has started id still be in garage.

added some more ducting and some packing faom to block area behind rad so know all air entering nose can has to go through rad.

I removed rad and took to work and cleaned fins in parts washer...well blocked with flies and crud. then blew out with airline....hopefully done the trick...nice fresh coolant too.

garage is a complete mess but good place to rockout whilst tinkering.

Well. Westory Cooling issue seems resolved she is back under control temps are 78deg flying 84 traffic and 92 to 89 on the fan control idle...i expect the car on track will stabilise around 88 deg c hopefully...lots of duct tape and alloy fab...it aint pretty but functional.
Hot start however is getting longer and longer maybe ill have to build an engine finally. Nice to actually have it though on this engine as opposed to bearing failure as looks like the sump is doing its job.

I also have a p0172 system too rich code....this gives a bit of a headache as i know its not the plugs leads or 3 off the coils...there c type mrp 1s but i have a non gen 1 in there as for some reason electronic suppression or something the gen coils will not provide a trigger for the digi dash rpm readout...spent ages on this awhile back so for elimination purposes i need a new non gen coil to try...but what where do i get 1....gonna see what local auto factors are selling ngk 1s at....this coil i think has a fair few miles onit...maybe what came on car....i know its a non gen as lit the dash board up on the type s else i would have never known.
This could also be the long hot start.....ohh exciting.
