If it goes solid then needs a read bud...but could be part of learn fresh engine as she is ported but mine didnt not do. When it flashes its ecu detected misfire which could be anything todo with firing so plugs leads sparks fuel etc....id do as Carl suggests and monitor if it goes solid id be more concerned.
Monitor for time being. You must be near 1000 mark soon if it still does it after that id thing it need scanning.

The CEL is constantly on anyway, it came like that and carl said too ignore it??

Wondering if carl maybe has software to alter the ecu?? Mazda edit is it?

Just stripping top of engine ancillaries.....long bolts out. Side seal fell out. Suffice to say...all the swarf its bearing failure...stat bearing looks ok. What horrors lie inside.......thing is....topped up oil religously and oil pressure bang on....digi dash monitors that.

rotor main bearing, rotor grove squashed and apex seal stuck in big time..other semi stuck and other ok.
