You won't need to lose any IMO, maybe move a bit of it around? I sprung mass, if that's what it's called, like wheels etc, the lighter the better isn't it?

Any downforce limits?

Goona get the standard 231 dyno,d here as well. I have no driver aids so will be interesting to see what it puts down.

It should see 190 hp. You don't have a restrictive exhaust either like I do so I may lose a few ponies there

Jon, how did you weight you car? Did you use corner weight system, those things that goes under wheels?

Because with Jannes Lada, we noticed that if you remove and/or add weight to some corner, it affects to opposite corner too...
Your car is so light weight that just your own weight can basically upset cars balance. My point is that if you add weight to right places, your car would be more balanced. And then you can add power too ;)
Power is nothing without control. Weight is enemy of performance, handling and braking.

Weight using corner weight scales.

Ok, good. Was there much differenses between different corners?

I cant remember bud..set up sheets at home...it was corner weighted. Think 52 48 fr to rear.

Ok. That quite good balance :) How about left and right balance?

there sthe original setup...but changed somewhat...no more toe out of rear axle. and ride height as raised plus rear has been double collared and raised since geo guy unwound during corner weighting and took preload off....handles nice now on airfiled days i done. back is a bit loose but hey lightweight and twice the power the chassis was ever designed for.

That really is interesting! Thanks mate :)

Quite big difference in camber between corners...?
And she could be lower, ride height seems to be unnecessary high...

Car actually is in better balance than I thought. Actually looks really good. :)
But some improvement would be if right back loses some weight and right front gains some. Maybe 30lb off from RR and add 30-40lb to LF, around passengers footspace...

But that overall weight off that car is ridicilous, she weights nothing :)

prob is me! im 80 kg sat on right back wheel.....camber on front is 1.5 now....i cant get any camber on rear as live axle so went for balance.

and my sump is an issue!....its low about 70mm clearance atmo....so ride height tweaked up...its all compromise to be honest its different from above apart from weights im running no toe in front either parallel dead ahead. with toe in tramlining and toe out very wolly at speed. so i set in middle and again compromise.

car has loads of front end grip no sign off understeer whatsoever rear grip is good then falls off a cliff...its fun.

downshifting is a mare...heel and toe yeah yeah yeah. tried all that..it will lock a rear wheel easy peasy and round you go. i now stay in gear do all braking then change down later and at apex..no engine braking atall.

Yeah, you have to lose weight about 30-40 kg :D

Damn, I forgot the sump. Do you have under it to protect it? Just realized that I dont know what kind of condition your tracks and airfields are. But I think 70mm is good.

I would imagine that 1,5 camber is good. And rear doesent need camber. If you do camber to rear, it MIGHT corner better. But then you lose some acceleration...

Well, those toe things, they are just ancient chinese to me! :D

I wonder why she tends to go around in braking...? Could it be that in braking, weight shifts so much to front that rear just lifts of and loses grip... Or does rear brakes lock?
