Im happy as it is now . Lost some front grip which has balanced the rear so i dont think it wants to kill me. The new sump is a couple of mm lower so rideheight raised but i needed to anyway as front has fair amount of movement compressing into a dip in road surface. Soft dampers on road...5 clicks to hard for track.

Yeah id like irs rear but if i do decide to campaign it this year too late for that...and run it how ive tweaked it now. If almost dialed out the snap oversteer abd ive got accustomed to it.

I have talked to few track racers about your car. Few ideas about your "problem "

-What kind of rear brake pads are you using? Can you get softer?

-When braking, something moves in rear allowing setup to change. Doesent need much movement to get wheel angle to move. For example:
Are all bushings and so on in good condition?

Has diff assembly been welded heavily? Has diff taken bad hit? It could be warbed.

Is diff really mounted straigh compared to chassis? Bushing, mountings...

Oh and prop shaft angle to diff?

Does car allways roll to same side?

If I could get your email, one dude could talk to you directly? I (kind of) trust him. He has raced decades and built ALOT different kind of race cars

Hi Japi. All bushes new on rear and everything straight. Its been on 4 wheel laser alignment  gear after crash. The Toe out on the rear axle tube is a massive no no and when car was in pieces axle tube was checked for straightness and then i welded beads on the front of the axle tube to get toe in. This was all a bit heath robinson. But measurement show that tube went from out to in on toe and this was seen on 4 wheel laser. Ive measured everything and happy straight. Rear brake and bias has been set up by me. Does not lock rear on brake. Brakes are disc and sierra calipers and pads.
I have to run rear soft rear as again live axle.

Care handles lovely at 90% if i drive at 100% its abit of handful BUT im might actually be at 110% if you know what i mean. For what it is a big go go kart its quick and fun and physics are physics!  Its a pilot thing me thinks! Lol.

Ok. So basically everything has be done and checked allready :)

Im not doubting you or car. But im surtain that lotus 7 replicas arent suppose to brake loose in braking...

Following your car here has made me like them actually. And I have been following those cars here too. They are frickin' fast at Ahvenisto track. Thats why, I asked few racers to give their opinion about your "problem"...

I think I might have idea though...

Nah it's ok mate. I wanted to get it done anyway. They're quite busy at the moment so won't get in this side of the year.

Re japi. Its not under braking its getting on loud pedal .that crash was because rear suspension collar undone.rear left.wheel had little or no contact.
I think it comes down to live axle if it hits a bump mid corner on opposite wheel it will unsettle driven wheel. Thats why 100lb springs in rear. Let it roll and move..if too hard its gonna bump steer .
