Hi, with fear of offering just another set of topics to this complicated problem and not being able to provide a definitive answer... I experienced black plugs when the FD engine was rebuilt and not run in. My problems were finally identified as;
1. Plugs were wrong type, NGK 9's and should have been 10's & 11's. (already had HKS Spark assist module, but it masked wrong plug type)
2. Loom looked ok, but one wire to coil pack was shorting in the loom !!
3. Crank sensor lead from loom was fitted, but the bracket attaching the sensor to the front of engine was cracked, so it ran ok on tick over, but once car was moving, ECU received incorrect signals (this problem took a long time to find).
4. Crank timing wheel was slightly bent, so sensor could not pick up a good signal.

All of the above were identified at different times (if we identified them at the same time it would have saved me, Clive, Kerim and Jaydee a whole heap of time). Thanks guys for sticking with it and finally finding all of the above.

So, I'm not saying these are related to your symptoms, but I offer them as problems I encountered which may lead you to a solution.

Good luck (I know how annoying this is for you).

re japi

That 3rd and 4th I was trying to explain but couldnt cause my english ;)

We have seens these things lately in rallycross cars here. Vibration is confusing ecu. And some times just when car front suspension gets hit, same result. I know that one bad sensor mounting "broke" haltech...

Trust me, your problem is confusing me (and us) aswel... ;)

Yesterday I had chat with ecu guru. He is wondering and thinking that problem too... :D he said that seems like some kind of sensor fault. But dunno... Also he said that you and we should use volvo and saab engines! I replyed that go f your self! :D

Lol...saab is vauxhaul erghh z20let alright engine...and well volvo engines just too heavy and big! But none of them make power without turbos.. .
I mustve damaged summit putting in but no incident comes to mind.
Checking e shaft profile plate, copper fuel line in tunnel incase it got squashed somehow, digi dash disconnect in case interfering with coils  and swapping to a used set and go for a gentle drive part throttle pulls.

Volvo and Saab don't do rotary engines though?

re japi

Older saab engines are good. And volvo engine that my friend is using in his lada isnt that big actually... And makes good power... But true, they need turbos ;)

But if problem is in ecu or in wirings, should it make error codes? But I agree with grant, some thing might be messing system cause when high rev ports kicks in, then problems start...

re japi

So if its fuel related... Do you have so called acceleration pump there? If that is gone or going to brake?

My brakes are non servo totally seperate...fuel pump is 12v ive shorted out the 6v resistor shunt...BUT. i confirmed it still missed...but i managed 4 3rd pulls to 8800....is this thing learning? Flames and bangs greatly reduced.
