All gaps sealed with black gutter flexible sealant! Should put to bed any cooling issues.

Cheers bud, happy with result ideally need a guillotine and bender but aint got either in garage so angle grinder tinsnips and vice sufficed!..If i got temp issues now i will be very surprised! Still got to seal the top in where the oil cooler pipes pass through but gonna use pipe lagging on the oil lines for 150mm. In effect 2 pressure areas within nose cone.

Im modding the tunnel next week...well my mates welding it...im making him tea...im hoping to gusset the engine bay. Its really what he thinks needs to be done. Hes welded lots of classics so gonna see what he says after seeing it...the chassis is powered coated and looks to be a factory chassis.

FFS.....changing fuel pump for brand new and find the fuel tank , pump collector and strainer full of swarf.
So pump take out time and clean all swarf from everything...1 saving grace better now than later. Has not got into pump...intank filter done its job.

From the alloy tank mustve been newish or not cleaned after fabrication.....calmed down now.....lol anyone got an alloy magnet. Im cleaning everything pump tank out by hand and clean.I can reach all corners of tank . Gonna get the hoover in there once the residue fuel evaporated .
thankyfully hasnt not reached pump but im gonna fully flush fuel line later .

Fill it with water and drain it rather than waiting for fuel to evaporate
