How is it for acceleration? Thought of going for something higher? 4.4 or a 4.7? Top speed be lower but I would imagine be better for Braitains tight and twisty tracks?

boosted

acceleration much like a cbr600!!!!

Need to see what its like round CC....reckon with some dodgy maths top speed will be 146mph so need to see if i can get up there coming up to Avon Rise. Im running 15" wheels as well and most westfields/caterhams run 13 but all out puff at 130!  Might lose abit on acceleration on the start but got few extra revs to make that up and 2 long straights so it can stretch its legs and the brakes are huge vented dynalite wilwoods...
ha ha time will tell!

CC it\'s probably the only circuit I have watched of people\'s in board cameras and got bored, there\'s like 6 corners or something.  Yes I\'ve heard it takes a lot to drive fast on the long bends but I thought the idea of circuit racing was the skill off braking steering balance accelerating etc and CC doesn\'t seem to give that.

So saying all that, for CC your 4.1 will be fine but I would consider a different ratio for tight tracks

Itching to get some seat time! Local keevil airfield in march is plan for first 1....gotta run engine in but still has mot and tax til end feb so could brave it on roads to get some mileage on it. Then can see what whats and Carls magic !  Hangin now lifted gearbox in 1 2 many times. Ill get it out tomoz morning. It fits didnt get 150 mm got 30mm !!!!! Its enough to get decent position of lever with set in it and saves expense...Tunnel would need serious cutting both sides and no space for pedals. Where moving tunnel over on passenger side to make room for starter motor. The prop had play on input shaft so taken this up and left 3mm for movement. Beefed up brace fingers x all sweet lady pleaser got a very nice feel and can get all the gears touring car style.
