thanks man :)

wooo :) after another long journey ive got myself a decent diff, a kaaz 2 way from yiug412 on here :)

when i got it back

after i took some of the paint off to be painted again :)

also picked up some 40mm hubcentric spacers for the rear

got an old skool hks dumpvalve off a mate so should be pretty cool :)

a nice little shot :)

B.Martin

Keep it coming matey, its all good stuff. Hopefully it will get to the second page soon as my work computer can\'t take all the pics on one page :Giggle

Timmyc

there\'ll probably end up just as many photos on that page as well lol,

put the MMR solid mounts from my first diff into this newest casing tonight, diff bushes are officially the easiest job in the world lol :) i also put together a current spec list and its getting pretty good, just going to get stuck into the fuel system soon as far as parts go, most work recently has been cleaning parts for paint seems endless but has to be done

bidoucrx

great work mate !!!!

Timmyc

got my girl involved again and the diff was primed again in heatproof white

then the pink

then a coat of laquer after the pink was done

so my nice 2 way was ready to be fitted, which i did

sorry for the crappy phone pics my decent phone is away for repair, then fitted the rear subframe and rear coilovers

finally got all my clamps for the turbo

also bought a new ecu so now i\'ll be running an apexi power fc

Least the suspention wasnt in your way for getting the diff off!!! was very tempting to steal the diff while i was up there but all suspention exhaust and intercooler were enough for me for now.

have to say though looks good all the work i got loads of pics of mine to go up but going to wait for everything to be sorced first.

Timmyc

so after cleaning up the engine block, i started by painting the rotor housings in VHT white

then the yellow on top of that

then the other plates were dont with VHT black and the whole engine done with VHT laquer

quite pleased with how its looking :)

then came the heat wrap, using an HKS manifold with a T4 flange and an HKS external wastegate, got the heat wrap from a guy on here and seems great quality :)

need to get some metal ties so tied with a few cable ties for now and will be replaced soon

then my beautiful assistant fitted it to the block

everything fits well

can you guess what the inspiration behind the colour scheme was :p

fitted the holset i have onto the manifold just out of interest of fitment and size etc

with the huge filter

and the monster 4 inch v band

the engine is coming along but thing im going to paint the inlet manifold so will probably come apart again

great work mate

i like the style :)

good luck !!

TiddlesRX7

Well you certainly ain\'t gonna get it mixed up with anyone else\'s engine build!

Seriously though it\'s lookin mega. Nice work.
I don\'t need to upgrade my stock turbo to beat your ass!

Get your finger out, get it on the road and start driving it then!!! (B.Martin 25/2/12)

Timmyc

thanks guys :) yeah i like the facts its different but im worried i might ruin it if i paint the lim and uim?

flatout

great build, who ya going to get to map it for ya ?

Timmyc

Thanks mate :-) also just painted the sump and hydraulic handbrake mount tonight so if the sump matches the engine I may do the inlet manifold the same but time will tell

Thinking of taking it to hayward rotary to get it mapped

Timmyc

more of an update

as im not going to be using the holset if managed to get a to4r with a .96 exhaust housing

sprayed my engine mounts white and got high tensile bolts for my solid engine mounts and in a moment of madness sprayed the sump the same pink as the diff

made a set of blanking plates for my lower inlet manifold and sprayed them the same yellow as the engine and did the lower and upper manifolds black, going to replace all nuts and studs, bolts with alan key bolts, just waiting on gaskets and they will be permenantly bolted into position

i then got a nice carbon centre console from jaymo sx which i believe to be from neils old fc

looks good with my flocked dash and carbon gauge pod

then decided id put the engine in to save a little space and make it easier to mock up my v mount setup while im waiting on other parts
