but i swear this car hates me, oil leak is back :Grrr but not sure where from this time, will have to get it in the garage for a closer look, oh and just as i was getting near the drag strip the last bank holiday it developed a misfire on any sort of boost.

swapped the plugs out for a set of 9\'s but didnt bother racing. both the leading and trailing plugs on the rear rotor were blacker than the front rotor :confused:

also found a pinhole leak on the tb water hose so fixed that and on the way home it was pulling well

now last weekend i gave it some stick in 1st and it started hunting from normal idle at 1100rpm to 1700rpm like there was an air leak but couldnt see anything in the dark so just drove home. sometimes when i let it idle it would idle normal :2Confused but when out of vacuum it would misfire like before but i still have the 9\'s in??


going to take the plugs out and have a good check over everything, not really sure what is going on.

right,

tested power to coils, got 11.6 and the battery was at 12.1. not sure if that is a lot or not but it could be a different story when the engine is running and revving hard.

so cut into the TNS relay power which when the ignition was switched on it would power up, tapped in a new wire, soldered and heat shrinked. then just found the power for the twinpower and from the car loom side (which were together already), cut joined the other end of the new wire, soldered, heat shrinked and job done now getting exactly what the battery is giving.











got some new magnecor 10mm leads and fitted them, just need to decide which plugs, i keep reading on the us forums and fduk about the b10egv??? also went to collect a dragon diff brace the other day as well.











then had a little moment and decided that while the plenum was off that i was going to spray it matt black, the reason being was i bought it just to see if it affects cooling  as its heat paint upto 600c and was going to use it on the DP and LIM. plus i was sick of trying to keep it clean

when ever the main bulk of the bits go i guess, then ill see whats about tho i have seen a few now that i like a fair bit but dont wanna get my hopes up that they will still be around......i also need to stop looking at GTRs
