Not sure if trackdays are your thing? No problem, come along to a trackday as a spectator to witness a day. Most Trackdays are free for spectators and you can buy a passenger wristband for ~£10, entitling you to unlimited passenger rides in any car. Bring your own helmet, if you have one, or hire one for ~£10 for the day at the track.

WARNING; it can be seriously addictive  , but maybe do it just once, to see what it's like! Yes, it is motorsport, so there is always a small chance you may damage your car, but trackday rules, explained at the compulsory safety briefing at the start of every trackday, are very thorough are strictly marshalled, so incidents are rare.

We are a very friendly bunch who will do all we can to help you prepare for the day and assist on the day itself. At most days we operate a "Buddy" system and can allocate an experienced member to stay with you from the start of the day until you feel comfortable to go solo.

SNETTERTON 300 (Norfolk), Friday 20 February. This is with MSVT (MotorSportVision Trackdays), 105dB static, Open Pit Lane, with FANTASTIC advertised price of £99. HOWEVER, look on the thread link and you'll be paying just £89.10 and get a free share of a garage (as long as 5 or more of us book up - we had 18 cars last year!). LINK HERE. An Open Pit Lane trackday at a "proper" circuit just can't get any cheaper than this, so let's have a great turnout. We had a fun time there in February this year, with SUPERB weather for the time of year.  This track is one of my "locals" and, although mostly flat, is a great circuit with a huge variety of corner challenges. It's a long circuit and so has a large car track limit (45 cars with typically 70 cars booked for the day), so usually little or no queuing to get out on track. I've booked my place already!

JAPFEST 2, Donington Park (Derbyshire) - normally a Sunday in August

BEDFORD AUTODROME (Bedfordshire) , Friday 30th Jan 2015. This is with MSVT and GreySilver Beast has proposed this trackday as it's advertised at a great price of £89. IF we get enough interest (5 or more cars) then we might be able to get a discount and some free garages. No thread running yet, so best PM GSB with any interest and he can start a thread rolling....

CROFT (North Yorkshire) , Tuesday 5th May 2015, the day after the early May Bank Holiday. This is a PROVISIONAL date and we need to gauge interest to see if there is enough, together with other car clubs, to make this happen. Follow THIS LINK for more information, but if there is sufficient interest the price would be £159. I'm keen to go again after a great time up there last year.

There are 8 of us Booked so far.

Brands Hatch 4 Dec is selling well, but there are a few places left at £139 - the "Early Bird" price of £119 having ended.

HOWEVER, there is a place for sale at £119 from an RX8OC member who booked early and now can't get leave to attend. If anyone is interested, please PM me asap.

 Hi Casey. I gotta rule myself outta this as well now seems i wont be getting anymore trackdays in or working on car doing heavy stuff as currently in nhs referral system waiting on 2 ops....nothing major though but cant book anything as unsure when going in. Ill do double in 2016!
