it's still not bad... the suspension arms, hubs, uprights etc are worth the money.

Maybe so but are the missing parts easy and readily available?

Jon & Jonathan,

I was at the Brands Speedfest all weekend with the Surf City stand and spotted an open formula we can all have a play in.

Providing all is well with Christine I am going to consider having a go as they have rounds that don't clash with Nippon and I would like to see how the car goes with slicks on,

All the best Clive

Ever used one in a really light car? (500-600kg) works really well as the viscous unit is very progressive and 'gentle', conventional units do not tend to work as well as the plate types are a little 'grabby'.  Other option is a proper non-plate torque biasing diff with the correct setup but you can at least double the budget for that.

That I didnt know. My knowlidge is based on how they work in gravel basically :)
Power is nothing without control. Weight is enemy of performance, handling and braking.

Actually no... ;) Old Mustangs doesent handle and newer are too heavy. As I said before, I hate Mustangs. Lots of my friends has Mustangs from different eras, and I just dont understand hype about them and their price...

For example, Fox body was build in late 80s and 90s and they still are basically same as 60s car. Newer perform better, but doesent have same grunt because they have "little" engines. New have quite good engines but they are just too fat and heavy...

I live in small village, about 2000 souls. And at the moment we have 10 mustangs from different eras. One original 67 fastback Shelby for examble... And my friend is building Eleanor clone, with track suspension, brakes and engine...

I like the 2016 mustang and the 67 coupe(the one with a proper boot) as my dad had one. I think the cougar is great too and they look very menacing
