Remember that considerable seat time will likely shave another 3 or 4 seconds a lap and maybe a bit of aero could also help
I\'m happy to go out with you and and see if there are any areas that might help.
We warranty our rebuilt engines for Detonation, track day\'s and RWYB and NOW for 30 months which is two and half years or 30,000 miles

lol!!! its a squeeze with just 1 in it! Prob best Carl having an actually drive on a track day! Its to raw for the road and frightening tbh! Theres a quick lap time in there for sure and the other cars in the series have prob had 5 times the cash pumped into them so im more than happy at the mo but do want to make some changes to get her to running at the front....and i do need to learn to drive it. its the quickest car ive driven round combe but also the least forgiving!....i\'m dreading a wet race.

Need to get these updates done then ill book a track day and give you a ring Carl! Bring your own ibruprofen though!:Giggle

Call me Mr FLip FlOp!  after measuring car  offset, wheel poke caliper protrude and coming up with perfect combo off size and offsets and a headache:Hammer. for a 6j front and 8j rear with Avon slicks. Compomotive wheels are out of stock for 8-12 weeks in the 13x8 wheel i need. Spoke with BMTR at great length on options and gonna run Avon ZZR\'s in 15" for rest of season..

scour for sale ads has turn up nothing.:2Confused

These zzr\'s look the biz everyones raving about them so worth a try. Still a semi cut road legal track tyre but Avon race compound.

well....wheel saga continues....decided to get 7" Team Dynamics in 13 " and not available for 3 weeks ! in my 35 offset RAAAAAAA!!!!! ordered anyway! In black and run these on slicks for rest of year with 2 lap old F3 slicks!  i have rang everyone and made some good contacts for slicks however! !

so do i race again on the 14th for a bit more experience or just wait and do a track at combe instead and get some more seat time ....i.e day versus 17 mins!

on a car note new gp 4 steering couplings went onto today which where a pig to fit.

new omp oring as still a weep on this side of engine and engine had a jet wash which i hate doing but needed it after oil surge issue. where talking tiny weep which i think is just the oil from spill working its way down but the OCD got me.

so do i race bad set up or hold off? Think a trackday best but lots more seat time. But irrelevant really as car will be totally different on slicks! shouldve wouldve couldve got 13" wheels earlier if know!

brake modification and new anti rollbar to be fitted soon.

Well, got home and have a leak free engine!...way too much premix....my fault hey ho all part of the learn.....also found another issue. have parachute effect in the rear tub...as rear diffuser broke 9 front rivets and semi folded and hit the deck in 5th gear !!!! Whole car is sheeted underneath accept the prop tunnel...to allow engine heat out so need a bit of head scratching to stop it happening again. Folded in half and stuck in passenger part.  Thankfully the bumpy roads helped it on its way instead of in a race.

Also my Airfilter is way too small so were running with just the gauze atmo and car is flyin...flames pops bangs just how a rotary should be!

All in a very productive day seen some awesome cars and had some fun!

My new anti rollbar kit was at home waiting for me as well so happy days.

Thanks Carl and Clive great help!

Ram air mod, Carl said my air filter was too restrictive so cut the end of the knN and now going to run the gauze with a grill over the front...maybe a bit of positive pressure!

Front grill off nose cone as well for maximum air flow.
