You\'ll find its the yellow/white cable on the engine management harness that connects up to the water temp sensor on the rear iron by the oil pressure sender.

Good work on the engine, I\'ve just got mine back in too, seems to take ages fiddling around with the electrics and fuel lines!:Giggle
Cheers

I had a problem with high water pressure, turns out it was the rear housing getting too warm. It\'s back in but now but I haven\'t had much time free to finish since I had a ski trip. I\'m currently doing braided fuel lines and a custom engine loom so there is less clutter and I can check all the wiring is in good condition.

It\'s a nice project but I just wish the weather was nicer!
Cheers

not good, what did it turn out to be, causing it to get hot?? good feeling getting the engine back in though. the stock loom is terrible, who ever designed it needs shooting :Giggle

weather is getting there now, i hope to be back out for may but there is still abit to do, just not enough money :( :(

had a good today, no relaxing or drinking for me.... just what i enjoy doing haha.

rerouted the wastegate lines as they rattled before, then just as i way laying the lest of the engine loom the plug on the water neck just snapped off. cut the shoulder off so i could solder them back together then just super glued the shoulder back on.
the other problem i had was my clutch, the pedal just dropped to the floor and would not bleed back. took the master cylinder off and stripped it down to find that it was stuck. the top seal is buggered but i cleaned it out and put it in the freezer overnight to harden up a bit. i need to get the car out and mobile for tuesday.

put the cylinder back together, back in place and connected it up, bled out and was fine :D got a rebuild kit on the way soon hopefully.

after that i got all the loom plugged back in the right places, all the fuel lines connected up and fpr back in, all the vaccum and pressures lines for boost gauge, fpr, wi etc etc and it was getting there. then plenum, downpipe, oil cooler lines and ps.

then got the rad, intercooler and ast bolted in, connected water and intercooler pipes back up and it was ready for a good check over :D

all looked good so there was only one thing to do, she fired up straight away.. happy happy days :wiggle

the reason i need it mobile for tuesday is its going for a respray :WaveBye

Yup :)
It\'s an AWESOME colour - like CYM but deeper with more of a flip to it - I reckon it\'d look amazing on yours. :D

Hard to capture it in pictures, but is probably the best approximation I could find:

Looks good in all weathers, but really comes alive in flourescent lighting and direct sunlight.

turbotoaster

wow thats a nice colour!! go for that, will look great in the summer

SiH

I expect it\'s an absolute fcuker to apply though, and probably not cheap.

karl_tate

yeh, that does look awesome,

just been onto the garage who is spraying it and because im getting to done cheapness anyway ive decided against it. they said the paint is very expensive as well.

im just going to get them to add a bit more pearl than what mazda did.
