so started stripping the subframe, last few bolts, and ding, a bolt snaps, but it would have to be the adjusting cam one.

stripped the rest out which left me with this pile to blast, paint and rebush. cleaned the subframe and gave it a coat of paint. diff\'s... i dont have a clue about them so anyone know what mine is??

I have Kaaz Super Q diff on mine. It does not look like Super Q Kaaz to me!!

My car had one of those exact front subframe braces on when I got it. Don\'t know anything about it either.

What make/brand is that spoiler you\'ve fitted? I was planning to make something like that, would save me a lot of trouble.

did your car come from japan?? the spoiler is from shine auto in america.

Its defo an aftermarket diff not a Kazz, but possibly a Cusco

Yes it did. The brace looks too scrappy to be a factory part, at least I hope Mazda had/have higher standards than that!

well its been a while again but finally got all the bushes out of the arms, cleaned and sprayed up so today\'s job was to fit the new bushes and then build the subframe back up.

what a nightmare the diff bushes were, unless i was doing the wrong way, but never mind, got them in eventually :mad: :rolleyes:

all back together ready for the refit

Hey mate, think the upper wishbone is on the wrong way round. Should have the Mazda stamp on top.

bit more progress this afternoon.

got the subframe back in, wasnt as easy as taking it out but nothing ever is but got there in the end. diff brace back on, antiroll bar links and its nearly there. then rebuilt one caliper back up and bolted that on. then it was a case of bolting the brake line on and handbrake cables. just the other caliper to clean, strip and paint and the rear is finished finally.

painted the tank, polished up the exhaust and fitted it, sprayed the arches black and pretty much left it at that.

also got all my fittings for the brakes, bias valve and some line. and a quick pic of the front calipers
