Well the MOT is due next week and I dont have time to fix the wheel bearing and exhaust so i thought i\'d let Pip sort it out for me.

Well I also thought (since it\'s christmas) let\'s treat it to a health check, coolant flush, laser alignment, 1600 injectors, larger fuel pump, CAT replacement, get rid of the air pump and give it a session on the rollers :)

Dropped it off Saturday, picking it up next Saturday, it was putting out 242ATW lets see what it has this time next week :cool

And fingers crossed he doesn\'t find anything bad :S

Bugger I forgot about it AGAIN!!!!!

Indeed it does have APEXi FC and Commander :) ...

Spec will read a little something like this...

APEXi FC & Commander
HKS Racing Suction Kit
99 Spec Turbos
Large SMIC with hard pipes
Secondary Rail running 1600cc injectors
DECAT
Blitz NUR Spec

Think that\'s it engine wise, not doing anything else till I go single...

mine made 285 rwhp with the same spec as yours with a street port at 11psi on twins down at pips 1300 secondarys, yours should be somewhere near if your motor has decent compresion

My 94 Type R should be arriving back from WGT this very afternoon after a rebuild. Only had the car for a month when it let go, but having covered 56K I was prepared for it. It was going great guns a minute before she threw a tip and not so great after !. I also got a £25 cheque from the breakdown company in compensation as they took 2.5 hours to come and pick it up....small bonus !
However, looks like a mainly dry week here in Bucks so may get a chance to put a bit dent in the run in mileage.
I think the only thing that Pip didn\'t change was the dipstick so might need to do a bit of carol singing this Christmas ........beware !!!

Lowered 94 Type R in original silver with RX8 alloys.
Yeh totally agree. No I\'ve no complaints re the costs, I got what I paid for.

The only downside is having to drive like a hairdresser for 1000miles to run her in.:Yawn

It takes a strong will to resist the need for speed, especially when it\'s just cost so much ;)

I miss mine SO MUCH and I only dropped it off on Saturday!

FLAT4MATT

Think i remember it, there was a very tidy silver one there, that might have been it...

Yeh Thanks. Really pleased with it. Bought it off Ebay:Hammer ....£4K delivered, and its very original apart from ( well curbed ) RX8 alloys and lowered. It\'s unmarked inside and out. Sold my 80 Corvette, did some homework before purchase, so throwing the tip was not a huge surprise ( 56K ).
Not had time to go over it yet but Pip\'s done a good job. Long list of bits including AST, clutch, water pump and solenoids, injector clean and general tune up.
Bought a New RX8 in August so I\'ve now got a great pair of rotary motors....LOVE IT ! :cool

Pip is a god!  I need to go see him after x-mas for my remap. :3gears-lh

Only 230 miles left on mine - best bit (or worst bit) is its 210 miles to Pips :p

FLAT4MATT

Yeah, he\'s doing allsorts for me too, just hope the compression test comes up good :)

If not I suppose it\'s a good excuse for a street port ;)

No seriously though I\'m preying for good news!

FLAT4MATT

Oh dear.............

Got it on the rollers today and long story short the little bugger will not make more than 0.8bar boost. Pip\'s already fixed a leaking boost solenoid pipe but apparently the problems lie with the wastegate (possibly being cracked) :(

He\'s pulling the turbos tomorrow so should know more then...

Fingers are still crossed :S

FLAT4MATT

Oh ********! Turbos are knackered so I might HAVE to go single!

The compressor wheel has been rubbing on the housing and the wastegate is cracked and there\'s a whole load of play in them both... So it\'s about £850 to overhaul that or it\'s time to go single...

I\'m awaiting a call from the insurance company........... :(
