:(  Sorry to hear that bud!

Would much more work be required to set the car up ready for a single turbo??  e.g. Injectors, rad, intercooler etc

WAY ahead of you....

It\'s now having a T04 strapped to it :D

FLAT4MATT

£300 extra on the insurance and the bill at WGT is mounting up big time! But there\'s been a hell of a lot done and at the end of the day i\'ll have a single turbo :D

TwistedHumour

Sweet!

What else are you having done to it?  Plenty of porting I hope :D

Couldn\'t go into much detail earlier as i was at work...

Like I said the twins are a bit of a mess so it was looking like an overhaul of upwards of £850. Now I know there are twin packs out there for £2-300 but then I\'d have to add the expense of having them fitted etc so was none too keen on spending over a grand to get back to used stock twins...

Then Pip mentions a used single turbo kit he knew of with a VERY recently overhauled T04e for around the same sort of money... A swift phonecall to the insurance (Sky Insurance - Great guys) and they agreed an increase of £300 which i don\'t think is that bad (I\'m 24).

Really can\'t stress how helpful Pip\'s been.

As for the other work i\'m having done, most of it was pretty boring stuff like bushes etc.

Can\'t wait to get it back now though!

Unfortunately I hadn\'t really planned on spending as much as i have (it\'ll be around twice as much) but then i didn\'t plan on going single! Which REALLY takes the sting out of putting it on the plastic ;)

Can\'t wait!

That\'s exactly how I felt. Bought the car wth 56K miles showing knowing that a rebuild was going to be sooner rather than later. The rebuild then came much sooner than sooner was supposed to be !
However now that the rebuild is done and the bank balanced has been mauled all is forgiven. I\'m now just enjoying the car ....well up to 4000 rpm anyway:Giggle

Well you\'re hardly lagging behind in terms of power Shaun! Is the next meet on the 8th? If it is I won\'t be able to make it as I\'m in New York with the missus, oh the credit card people are gonna love me!
