Lift? I bloody hope not. With no roof there's going to be so much turbulence I doubt it will lift.

IT might pull wheelies but slim chance with the clutch slipper.

Adding lightness is basically free horsepower lol

Ha ha
Yeah wheelies I mean not lift ......
front end lift i meant
I really want to see this go when it's done

Once iv got it running I will have to learn about weight distribution and get it corner weighted as I'm going to have to put some weight in it somewhere.

I think drag cars should have the weight 55% front and 45% to the rear which keeps the wheels down but transference of weight when launching has something to do with it I think.

Fit a tow bar but fit the ball upside down.

Practical wheelie bars lol

I dont know nothing about drag cars weight distribution. But I reckon that most of them has like 60-70% on front. Rotary and fourbanger engined has 55% I reckon.

Ride hight effects to weight transfer. Lets say that your cars nose is 2 cm higher than rear, so it might have shifted its weight distribution compared to stock. Also, when weight transfers at launch, it will be more than stock transfer.

IRS at drag racing is completely different story. One topic that I know nothing about. I think that IRS needs lots of weight transition to back, to work correctly. I mean getting power to track and getting traction

Power is nothing without control. Weight is enemy of performance, handling and braking.

Prety cool how mazda put this removable panel on here. Not sure why but it makes getting to the gear box easy peasy lemon squeezy

I just need 4 more injectors.....

From what I understand about injector placement that the closer they are to the engine/combustion chamber the better they are for driveability and efficiency

But if they are further up the intake they are better for hp production as the fuel has more time to take heat out of the intake but driveability is rubbish which I honestly don't care about.

Makes me wonder that a track car would benefit from that kind of thing?

I he just gone and splooged out for new windows installing in my house so think I should treat myself to more injectors

Oh no, I must have a look at your progress.

I was going to make my own sump years ago but realised I can't weld
