Have just spent the best part of an hour cleaning out the powder coating and the balance bar slides in half way nice and easy but the rest not so much.

A bit more with the sand paper and should be good, little bit annoying having to do this but apart from that it's a good piece of equipment

I had to do the same for some reason, don't ask why, I have billet aluminium pedals so no paint.

You may find it's a bit of penetration from welding if they're steel ???

Yeh thats what I was thinking, there's 2 welds on the pedal.

My dad's got a bore scraper to help make the clearence

Measure the difference between the hole and the spherical bearing.

The hole was 0.5mm too small so iv been filing away for last hour opening it up.

Had to take the pedal out and that was a ball ache, not enough room to pull the screw out fully to remove the pedal so I have had to force it out

Might still need a little but of filing but iv run out of patience with it.

Right help needed

So I'm guessing that the master cylinders I have are 7/16?

As on comp brake site they have a number of unions/fittings for 7/16

And what I have here is a banjo fitting which is the same thread size as what mazda use...

This is for my clutch slipper.

This banjo fitting screws straight into my clutch slave cylinder.

So mazda use 3/16 or is it 3/8

I know the thread pitch is m10 x 1.0?

What I need is an adapter that fits the master cylinder (male) end with a female that I can screw my banjo fitting into

Or another option

Also just practiced making a revers flare, not done them before but YouTube helps as always

Iv ordered 3 of those fittings anyway. All the different sizes along with different thread pitches gets confusing.

I'm prety sure the master cylinders are 7/16 and iv found something on comp brake website about using those adapter you can use regular brake line and fittings etc.

Bit of a strange one that master cylinders come in a different size to what the common brake line size is but there must be a reason lol

I have just found someone that does fibreglass doors and hardtop for. Mk3s

Sent from my VOG-L09 using Tapatalk

Grant Monkhouse

Reyt fibre glass parts galore

Doors 550 for the pair
Front bumper 325
Bonnet 150
Hard top 550 plus 150 for the glass. Which I honestly won't need the glass

Roof weighs 6kg
Doors weigh 6kg

I have just taken a standard door off and weighed it... 25.2kg with the glass

That's a big weigh loss
O you think it will lift ?
Not that I know bugger all about drag

Lift? I bloody hope not. With no roof there's going to be so much turbulence I doubt it will lift.

IT might pull wheelies but slim chance with the clutch slipper.

Adding lightness is basically free horsepower lol
