I ordered a seat with Neil at Kit Cars Direct a few weeks ago but unfortunately he is not going to be able to get one made until after the lockdown. Not his fault and he's been very helpful.

I've now ordered one with JK Composites and they should be able to get one made and delivered within 2 weeks so watch this space

Not really done a lot of recent, bit more cosmetic work.

Pit a few stickers on the back, note the nurburgring p#*s take lol.

New Willans harness, only bought one so need another for when the seat arrives from JK Composites.

Might be a bit controversial but I have designed and installed a bonnet stripe. Its sole purpose was to hide some cosmetic marks but I'm OK with how it turned out.

New front set of 8j Compomotive CXR's arrived today they are ET20 in satin black. Unfortunately they didn't have Satin Black in stock of the rear ET0 I want so will have to order these when the foundry is operational after lockdown

Very much a black and blue theme going on which I think keeps it a bit subtle track car

So I've been on the hunt for a trailor for a while and have struggled to find a trailer thats just the right size for the Westy. Wife doesn't want one sat on the drive so need to find one as small as possible to create as little moaning as possible lol.

Took the dog for a walk the other day and 100 meters from my house  this is sat on a neighbours drive. Only god knows why I've never noticed this before.

Looks like its been sat a while and may need a little bit of TLC. Popped home and wrote a little note and posted it through their letter box

Got a call today, she introduced her self as trailer lady took me a second to figure out who it was. Anyway, long story short it is her husbands who is now ill and they have been meaning to try and get rid of it for a while.

Had a quick look today, bit rusty underneath but only seems to be surface rust, should clean up well. 3 tyres look like new, 1 is showing its age with a few cracks in the sidewall. Needs a couple of lights and a new bed. Rated at 1300kg so way more than I will ever need

Going back tomorrow night with a jack to get it off the floor and check bearings, brakes etc.

Jocky wheel all good, has ramps but would probably want to get a winch and weld on some tie downs

What do you think its worth?

The handbrake is on...so prob ceased but a few hammer blows on drums should sort. Its wheel bearing on stub axles your need to check. Budget x4 tyres as they look shot. Lick of paint some spray grease here and there all will be fine.

She has said make me an offer but don't know what to offer. Tyres must look worse on the photo than the actually are, all look perfectly fine apart from one starting to look a bit tired. All holding air fine too if they look flat in the picture.
What do you think on price Jon?

Mr Spiller

Trailers very rarely go down in value
I bought mine new around 4 years ago and they are selling second hand £400 more than I paid
If your better half ain’t happy about having a trailer on the drive i’d find a better example to sit on the Drive ......
downside , keen eyes like pinching shiny things ........

Very true.

I will see what she's prepared to take after having a proper look tomorrow. If its cheap enough it will keep me busy during lockdown making it shiny

Plenty of keen eyes amongst the travelling community near me. When I confronted one who used to work at our place.
Convo was summat like this

J. I’m watching you, if it’s shiny it goes missing.

X. Doesn’t have to be shiny, just has to be heavy.
