Hey bud,

Thought id write up a maintenance schedule for you.

oil...i change when it goes from golden to tan colour. track both oil cooler, road side oil cooler blocked off. Ive been using 5w40 Miller NTplus FS.
Oil coolers and lines hold a lot of oil and sump is huge so oil; change is only 2/3 approx of oil.

coolant. runs on road at 82degs track circa low 90s...10-15 laps goes up a degree a lap, if it starts to go up higher its time to clean the rad. It get filled with dead flies. Washing up liquid let it soak and blast through from behind with hose pipe not pressure washer...or if coinciding with coolant change once per year...winter. I remove and  do at work in parts washer. Ive just used red coolant nothing fancy.
Coolant expansion tank...only fill to 25mm max from bottom and the alloy rad cap insert is a vauxhall type..13psi cap. any more coolant and when hot will vent.

all suspension bolts checked b4 a trackday for tightness, infact all screws jubily clips check as high vibration a few work loose. This includes fuel line clips too. just a tweak to tighten up.

Fuel, tank is filled with foam and vented. cap needs occasional ptfe putting thread..had an o ring..no good goes soft with fuel. sytec fuel filter and sytec pressure gauge... 4 bar returnless system... maybe time to clean engine bay filter but pressure good so i left alone.

Prop. hi tensile 10.9 bolts and nuts joining prop to disc. winter time i check tightness...came with stainless bolts in :violent1:  bit ackward to get out but 13mm x3 spanners.  Halfshafts are uprated motorsport 1s... new bearings and seal a few years ago and retaining rings are welding in so half shafts can not come out.  Millers diff oil as per your spares package.

Brakes. you know about.

sparks are 30k change interval...theyve done about 7.5k...

off the top off my head thats it, bound to be more, but im happy to answer any qs.

hope the welding went ok! :)

Cheers Jon, top man!!
I am going through the car and changing various so I have a starting point from when I purchased.
New millers nt plus done
Fresh brake fluid
Ferodo Dsuno fronts and like for like rear pads
Fresh brake fluid, went with Motul 600 to see how it differs to Ate Type 200
Changing road tyres to Dunlop DS03G's
New plugs (save the old ones as a known working set in case any ignition issues arise in the future)

Broke the mirror off perfecting my Dukes of Hazzard enterence into the car lol. Bought two little carbon ones which which i think look pretty good

Bought an extendable boss for the steering wheel. My legs are perfect for the paddles but my little arms were struggling haha. Plus I like the wheel a little closer.

Struggling to figure out how to upload pictures do will post a few up when I get a minute

While I purchased it as a track car I am very fussy and do plan to tidy a few bits up so the Cage will be freshly painted satin black. I'll probably get a grill for the front, tidy up cabin etc.

Just nice to have a toy again I can go out and tinker with. Just need it to stop raining for two seconds now 🙄

I'll try and keep you updated on it's new life, off to Llandow in two weeks on the 4th April. Never been before so keen to see what it's like. Small track an minimal run offs so will have to be on my game

Reminds me steering wheel play...you may have noticed some tin foil on male spline....regularly i change and gets annoying play out...
All the ujs have a tiny bit so 3 ( might be 4) ujs it all adds up...they were new and same amount of play...i bought motorsport 1s from rally design and thdy had even more play.
Most comes from the quick release steering wheel splines and tin foil sorts it .
Ive bought a broken mx5 turbo !

Yeah noticed this and I've done the same thing again. May look to change/replace the quick release to try and sort this. Now I've spaced the wheel closer to the driver the quick release may still be needed.
