Some more fd playing today after working on neighbours skoda...

Took intercooler off to get access to silicone elbows for some extensive coolant system burpage... lots of air still. Topped up and ran upto temp...

I reckon the rad cap got ever so slightly weak so ill get another from Clive. If you tap it a dribble comes out plus the seal looks worn.

Me broke down...on a303...crawling along 85degs....then wallop ..125 in 5 secs..
Spare cap on 2. Coolant buzzer came on 2. Oh well top up the tan and wait for her too cool...got water so hopefully limp home..

4 lires n lemon n lime and electrolyte...
Got me home..put a little rock in over flow pipe. 85degs all the way home....let her cool and see how much coolant used...
Its either coolant leak that is no obvious rad cap passing or...coolant seal in engine...
Boosted few time on way home all good...
Rather strange. Didnt make it Thruxton for sound....but no recovery truck shame.

Top up 500ml....summit going on. Tick over at temp with funnel in...no bubbles...
Spoke to Clive poss airlock....tomorrows fun..
Uim off to get to rear coolant hose or hook a hose pipe up....gotta flush the lemon n lime out.

Yep crawling along in traffic no doubt lol.
Had a fun tbh...out cruising in the fd...had a 19 plate bmw up my arse....thought it was unmarked jam sandwich....til he over took....so i gave chase lol until quarry lorry slowed us both up.
Defo v hot today.
No aircon in fd.

Flushing the block at the mo block draining ...cant have lime cordial in there...put the drain back in pressurize with hose. Cap off take for a run..
