Anyways ive been thinking on Westory...
It has to he something on the fly by wire throttle as car idles after cut so cant be injectors ...why im not getting a code is strange...but suppose it clears itself...so need to look at throttle pedal and wiring and throttle body.

Quick little vid, hammering the Caterhams lol...they only had skinny control tyres on so i had a distinct advantage....

Throttle cut at end, temp light is on...running at 104 degrees yesterday, rad needs a clean as full of flies and coolant flush to rid the system of kseal but it saved my track day....defo worth a pot in the track day toolbox!

you can see loose all power but car idles so cant be fuel...its like major limp but putting throttle down causes bog then it just recovers....it started last track day at 4.30 ish and ive been out on road and all fine....hitting the rumbles at Camps and it immediately cutting was a good clue a loose connection and i took fuse box down at lunchtime when i replaced the egi( fly by wire throttle) relay and ign relay seemed to improve it so thats where im gonna look first...

got some more but will watch and do later...front cam ok but sounds funny and lense covered in coolant....

Yep, watching your own incar vids can teach you alot. They are great tool to improve car and driver...

Btw, friend of mine has RX-8 that wont start. Fault codes say that crank sensor is gone. However, he has just changed it. Car also has good starter and desent coilpack. No comp test yet. Is engine really gone, or do you have some ideas?

Ign pos 2. Pump brake pedal 20plus times oil pressure gauge will sweep from left to right and back again. Start car and leave idling for 10 mins...
Id get him to deflood first.

Im missing apexes now as suffering understeer due to entry speed pushing the car on...considering a quicker ratio rack to get more steering angle quicker...
