Well up early thanks to the cats....wanting feeding at 5.00am...so armed with freshly read info...ran upto temp and then switched , removal of strut brace and top mount oil catch tank....confirm vacuum in vacuum tank and pressure in pressure tank....all lines on uim secure no splits....charge control actuator is pulling in....so weld up this crappy corsa for a mate and take the uim off....
Im heading straight for the aftermarket soleniod pack flying leads where they connect to the original plugs as ive already checked all the pipelines and its already siliconed. And the crimp spades are corroded up....need to follow the lines to the corresponding coil and see if makes sense with fault....
Wish me luck. It was fine before i took the uim off so not a failure...ive disturb something....

Oh and every cloud silver lining...just as well failed....whilst under car spotted main actuator hose only on by 5mm....had nearly blown itself off...so just as well made me crawl under there as wouldve been very fast for 3 secs....then expired....

no rats nest fun for me today....done in from welding up a crusty rusty 98 S Corsa automatic...

plus its pissing down so prob do more harm than good....

Fixed....im a HORSE of a man! La la la doppity doo dar woppity do...
Also bought a new defi oil press. Transducer from yee har land and arrived in 48hrs....duly fitted and that working as well....got stung for 25 quid customs....well they delivered it and then left me a voicemail......does this go to the usa or uk? If its the uk they can whistle along with Boris to there hearts content.....if its good enough for Boris then its good enough for Horseman....

All good...til fan fell off on test drive....lol...saved it...those clips you can get are shite...had to bumble home off boost to keep temp down....nice 82 deg c nailing it on pulls...85 deg idling...enough for today ill put the fan back on tomoz...

well a little story....whilst working on my car i was destracted by an zoossh noise followed by a bump and thack noise...i neck jerked round to the noise to see something hurtling to the ground....so i walked around to neighbours drive to see Pigeon and a Hawk. Hawk had dived bombed pigeon and taken it down with a thump....Hawk saw me and flew off, pretty big bird defo can move....then my cats came out well 3 of em....so Mr Percy was rescued to a box to save him from death from my Cat....Mr 1 tooth.....
so Percy has bad wing but looks ok...hes on his feet and cooing but cant fly..... .now hes in a box with some water and bread in the dining room....what the hell do i do with him....( no im not making a pie).....
