I got the right hump now....looked at technical manual....looks ike primary injector seal....and a right fiddly mare of a job...thats tomoz only day off ruined....nights makes me a grumpy old man....need summit to kick.

Day of misery for me....
Uim off....staring at injectors...my rats nest has been modified with a relocated wing mounted soleniod pack so rather complicated.....speak to Clive....poss primary injector....seal....then find fuel primary hose jubilee buried under rats nest loose....get a good few turns onit....well ill put back together and see if i get lucky....no fuel leak...atmo...go for a drive boost leak noise flat power above 5000 rpm....check ic uim and elbow all good n tight...sounds like a big boost leak.....walked away at mo....gets to 13psi and then whoosh....boost goes 5psi then comes back....waiting to cool down me and car and take it all off again....goona lift the uim and reseat positive didnt disturb any hoses...donk.

All off then back on again...sweat dripping off my nose.. .found nothing other than tiny nick in elbow o ring...sealed the join with hylomar....if it aint a leak ive disturbed summit but defo sounds like boost leak not control....ill let the sealant go off for a bit.....weird.

Nope....well introduced a fault...no 2nd turbo....boost til 4000 ish then whosh ...5psi far too hot todo anything about it now...and back on 12 hr days tomoz....have todo some reading up...
No fuel leak though....ha ha.

This cars got a poltergeist controlling it today....i got 6bar of oil pressure on the defi gauge and the engine aint running....

start the day with a fuel leak and end up with no 2nd turbo and a duff oil pressure trasducer....the defi transducer has gone screwy.... 6bar 1 minute then beeping its head off saying no oil pressure the next....and the engines not even even running.....its one of those days....down tools and have a cold beer....my defi gauge is overheating over pressured and the hammer gauge is racked up to 11!!!! if i was 8 yrs old ago that airfix would have been smashed tobits by now.....with age comes maturity....

what a day chasing my tail.

time to walk away and chuck some holy water on it and come back friday for round 2....

well this plus aftermarket solenoid set is...

This...ha ha

think its the charge relief valve as making boost til 4000 rpm ish then boost dies and its very loud whoshing noise so boost escaping....

I thought i may have crossed turbo pre control and wastegate control plugs on solenoids but physically followed lines to plugs and then to wire colour codes so ruled that out too as correct.

have to take the uim of friday and fathom out whats broke...vac lines look good suspecting elecy connections from old plugs onto aftermarket harness.

and i thought i was experiencing severe oil slosh at Combe last outing as defi oil gauge was flickering all over the place but no pressure transducer screwy so that puts my mind at rest bearings where getting oil.

onwards and upwards it will be summit simple ive disturbed no doubt.

tried to post and server crash error.....sit on my hands time lol

Itching to crack on and fix it found a fantastic trouble shooting guide...only disconected a few lines so the 2 check valves on uim are first suspects....
New oil pressure sensor on its way...
And i need fuel still...used it all up testing....

Its transitioning from 1st turbo to 2nd and then boff no boost....just a loud whoosing noise so venting boost....i took the pipes off for the pressure tank at the check valve....disturbed nothing on the charge control lines...so before i take the uim off again remove the check valves and check em....but i gotta weld up my mate corsa first on friday...lol
