re japi

Looks good to me  :sign0098:

A bit offtopic, but can you tell what kind of suspension setup you have in your Colt? Cause I desided to change basically everything in my Opels setup, and I have now idea what kind of setup FWD cars have at back axle. At the moment I have very stiff springs and camber and caster are too "agressive", maybe +1.0 both...

At clear and good ice my current setup works just fine cause I can throw car into corner. But when ice is worn out, setup is too agressive. Like throwing a hammer and pray it hits... Same thing at tarmac track. I just cant trust rear to come where I want it to come. I just have to "work to hard" to get to car in to position I want, if you know what I mean...?

I´m a bit drunk and cant explain but any info would help :D
Power is nothing without control. Weight is enemy of performance, handling and braking.

My colt is basically standard...theres a set of apex lowering springs in there...solid nylon anti roll bar link bushes as its pummels the rubber 1...its basically pretty soft...leans abit and grips...alignment is as per mitsubishi specs...
In my opinion you want to be as soft as possible but ive never driven on ice bud.

Came out ok....lol for me with body work...there mega flexible abs plastic..
There is a slight airgap which could be sealed with tigerseal but if they got hit would rather pull off than take arch with it.

Yeah poss some black sump sealant to seal but tube was solid...so i was saved from myself and the mess ha ha..
Just had a thought...when i get my fd back...got no more essential nagging jobs on it todo....woohoo.
Oh and wifes mps is no lowered on eibach springs as failed mot on blown shock in coil so whilst in bits i fitted them...its transformed car...so much better.

Gotta get alignment done...rear has quite a bit of camber...there progressive springs so ride is about the same...but seems to lost its skitishness...me likes now...but still bad torque  steer.
