Funny how driving an FD can give you water temp paranoia, I never think about it in the rx8, strange isn't it. I think the worst thing I had in the FD was the pfc controller for the apex I ecu! Constantly checking it even though it didn't matter as the engine was fully warranted so should have full confidence in it lol

yes i do have a bit of rotary parnoia!!!! its the water seals im worried about! starts great little smoke on start up as she warms no smoke atall so dont no why im paranoid lol! coolant has found its own level and staying put its been flushed 4 times lol!

i done a champayne test some tiny bubbles but after coolant refill...plus my brand new engine in last 1 always had some bubbles so prob think unless smoking out the back and gurgling is it really that good a test.

it really is get an mot and go for a drive....after tracking Bobfish has put new track rod ends on and coilovers so needs doing b4 any boost.

Mine always smoked because the twins were pushed at constant 1-1.1 bar and had been ported out etc, even when it got warm the was a bit of smoke in first and second gear

had a quick tot up!!!!!! with fresh service...including new fuel pump and filter and an advisorys free 12 months MOT should come in at about £5k.
new wipers, windscreen..all new brakes....bargain.
