Yes i was a bit worried about that. The light pods them selves are metal very strong and bolt to both sides as opposed to on top so hopefully i put back in what ive taken out.
The light surround where already notched out and cut down if untouched i would not have done. Nice ducting in your pic. Im gonna do the same when the ally rad is away for repair im getting them to weld some threaded bosses on so i can bolt so ducting in place.

Drivers seat out today so i could remove rear bench so no rear seat no need for seatbelts and 1 more of the mot list.

Spent some time adjusting the clutch for correct free play and clutch bite too high before and positioning seat and harness to suit me....now i can see over steering wheel.

lots of hoovering and cleaned all interior plastics. I think Bobfish had a sweet tooth...lots of sweetie wrappers under seat lol. hoping to find a pound or 2 but only a 1 cent coin!
all clean now.

Get rid of passenger seat too, don't that "because race car" I'm am proper jealous not having an FD. Think I'm going to have to have think on my car situation. Sell both my focus and my rx8 and buy something like an Audi diesel and get myself an FD OR sell the focus keep the rx8 and then get an Audi with my tax back in April. Hmmm. And turn the 8 into a single seater lol

Sounds about right mine was little lower price but just the block so i had to build up and install.

Cobra buckets are superlight i was pleasantly surprised. Got a lovely seating position despite on a fixed rail. And pedals are really nice for heel n toe....the westy is a pig for it. Throttle pedal is just that little bit higher than brake and my legs are cramped in it so its an unatural movement.

Well ive only driven to mot and back very steady...trackings out and been a while since i drove my last fd....really hard to say atmo. When i drove the silver S type i had round combe last year on standard springs it was very clear to me that too softly sprung for track work felt like i was gonna join my mate on his seat. The 1 i recently sold on the tein springs was so much better....focus st came up behind me quick dropped it 2 gears went though the 3 corners and bye bye ST. The wifes mps is basically a focus st and the handling is crap.
R3...Me thinks best that thing was awesome like your joined with the car. Wish id put it round a track.

Well the other lights arrived and some brake parts and new fuel pump....and i dont go back to work til wednesday....but just had a wedding in Newcastle ! Great weekend....but to much Proseco consumed on day 2 hangover! Will i ever learn! Not good flyin in this wind and fog landing in Bristol....nearly diverted to Luton.
Hopefully tomoz i can get a full day onit. Wedding free for 11 months now ! Enough time to forget how rough i feel and do it all again.

need some adjustment so gotta come out again unsightly gap....but ran outta light.

this side more ackward due to boonet stay bracket and screen wash filler neck...got to do some more notching so can move to left.

finished the lights for mot purpose, will revisit with some stonger brackets for the lens covers and better fit later.

some parts have arrived but nothing i can fully complete but stripped the rears down as passenger side binding as you can see by the brake dust on the wheels. We are sticking yellow stuff in rear as got them for xmas...blue stuff being made for front and rear as nieghbour has an account and doing me a favour

rears already for assembly and bleeding once discs arrive.

Waiting on rear pillow bushes from Clive but bought some wishbones that are in excellent condition on ebay so race on for mot! depending when i get rest of brake parts. They can then go back on ebay.

lashings of lube and wire wheel work...disc and pads where good but sliders solid so needed doing.
