Also many thanks for Clive and Lisa from us in the Netherlands, I was also attending Rotorstock from the beginning, and also had to travel one way for more then 5 hours. But we never missed one. This time I also ordered tickets, but unfortunally the police took my drivers license for speeding. So it was the first time I couldn\'t come over. I would have taken with me, this year, yet another special car, an RX-3 which could have stand next to Steve\'s Rx-3.
I always had some special cars during rotorstock such as my FD kazama, the green RX-7 with trailer, or RX-8 4-rotor, red Eunos cosmo 20B, FC very low convertible and several other rotarys.

Maybe some of you will come over for Rotarystock 2015, this is now every 2 years, so people won\'t get bored with attending every year the same show.

Hopefully lateron, there will be more interest for a new UK event maybe 2016?

So thanks for all those wonderful Rotorstocks

Right it\'s simple  rebuild costs need to be reduced  and running costs people are not going to stay for long when they are spending loads of money on something which spends more time on the driveway to house spiders  and only comes out a few times a year lol,  you don\'t get none of this nonsense at ford and vw meets lol:Giggle

Trust me if the rx7 had a piston engine there would me more people at these shows lol :WaveBye

If the rx7 had a piston engine from factory it wouldn\'t be an rx7 it would just be a 7.

Grant has this spot on.
Maybe I am to in to the rotary but without a rotary under the hood it would not be the same.
Turbocharged 192ps RX-8 running Meth Injection on an Adaptronic
Fully Bridgeported 231ps RX-8 stripped for the Track
2nd Gen RX-7 TurboII on a GT35r (show winner)

That was my first rotorstock and from what has been said in this thread possibly the last. Shame.
Won\'t even get a chance to show my FD once....

clive

It was nice to meet you and hopefully once your FD is sorted we will see it an event next year as there will be other MRC events
All the best Clive

hello ,i am new here.i can tell how happy you guy were hanging out.i have a bit sorry for not joining the Rotorstock,i hope that i can attend next time.

Hi Domanic,

Real sorry but there's no Rotorstock this year because we couldn't get all those people with their wonderful Rotarys to come out to play over the last couple of years , so it died , no cars means no event. :(

Shame as Rotorstock was designed to promote our great cars to other people as well as a chance for our own owners to meet like minded people.

There will be events the club will attend over the coming year with one main event, The Mazda Nationals at Gaydon where everyone can showcase their cars in a nice setting to the rest of the Mazda world

All the best Clive

I must say I love Rotorstock. But with all the hard work Lisa and yourself put in to it. For the community to show so little support. I must say I really don\'t think we actually deserve to have this event. It hurts to say but it seems that there is lots of talk but bot many wheels on the grouns when it comes to show time.
I commend both Lisa and Clive for trying something different. But it still needs the fupport of a community. A community that seems to have factions within that are set on killing an event that is not about MRC or about Lisa and Clive\'s (ego\'s as some would have you believe) but is meant to be about the cars and the owners.
I must say it is seriously disappointing to see so fe specialists bringing their cars along to show support. It would have been nice to see for one day a year them put work aside to put on a show (all be it static this year) of what can be done to these cars.
I really do hope that we have not seen the end of Rotorstock but I doubt that it will be back unless so,etching serious can change in the community.
