took a pasting....

passenger side extra cavity to hold oil and relocated drain plug.....oil return hole was infact recess for level sensor my mistake so sump comes ready to install with new bolts......so i am going to use this to feed a light on dash....surge and level warning taken care off!

drivers side. mock fitted at mo as uprated press. reg going in.....fits like a dream. got another 2 weddings this year....think ill drive for those lost the whole weekend to feeling fragile.
one big positive this is the first time sumps come off this spare engine and not a hint of bearing swarf init atall

so with new baffled sump and surge warning press and thermal mod....i can wear my slicks out!

Cheers Casey....cracked my breaker bar knuckle trying to undue e shalt bolt! Aint budging. Locked in gear. Misses on brakes aint having none of it. Impact gun no room.

Well got up from nights and nice ups arrived 5 mins later with my new press reg from MRP. So duly fitted...rtv silicone on sump...good 24 hrs to cure and where ready. The thermal bypass pellet is not in..breaker bar is broke so that will be another day when "donk" comes round again. Clearance is low so road wheels are coming off as there only 45 profile so the 888s will go on which will give 7mm more ground clearance. Hopefully can get out on road this weekend for some fun.

Right need some help.....all back together but rev just toward 6k....a misfire then revs out clean.....this triggers a lean code p0171......maf cleaned....all intake off and no vac leaks.....sticky ssv? The vacuum controlled ports are fine.....the motor 1? This sound right.? I havent swapped it as got take the steering off to get to it.....box of matches!!!!

Horrible breakout misfire at top end.....raaaa!!!! Oil tight sump though..looks the biz. And mahoosive engine oil pressure.
