new bearings and retaining ring....Clives top tip tack weld ring to shaft.....slide hammer pulled shaft out of bearing and retaining ring so defo disaster waiting to happen. not sure whats original on this car left!

Glad i posted that pic......ive put bearings on wrong way round i copied old bearings that leaked instead of using my brain....angle grinder time tomoz! Rodney you plonker!

cut the new bearings off....shafts all prepped for the new bearings when they arrived.

Bear with me.....I lost my rev readout beginning of year and with the chassis repair etc was a low priority job....anyhows cut a long long long story short...rewired it twice ...earth strap, continuity test 0.8 ohms etc etc....came to conclusion digi dash up the swanny....so sent away and tested no fault found updated etc....so been out on car again and refited nothing...no rev readout!....set my meter in HZ and can see values rise with throttle...

so i disconnect leading coil plug which the positive trigger is connected to and run car and digi dash reads 899 rpm...as soon as i plug in 00000...so i thinks i have a dead coil.....but was great on track day.....so tested on spare lead and plug and sparking fine....Speak to Ben at BJR digi dash and he says what have you done it last worked? Um stuck in some tyres sideways? then the penny dropped i put brand new coils on REV C gens as i discovered she had aftermarket coils from Amazon. Head scratch !!!! get me box of spares down and find the fakes i took of the blue 1 and hey presto rev readout and spark.

so my question is why wont the gens work its only piggy backing the signal into the digi dash?

Been for a blast ......all seems ok.....no last minute jobs.....and have revs and more importantly shift lights......

Yep...makes a change.....so im hiding in garage as wife is decorating lol! Aint seenvthe wagging finger for over a year! Lol....ill sort the camera....and load up the shogun....oh and dont forget to vote! Im voting for ROTARY !

All loaded ready togo and hoon it up.... same airfield circuit as last month....few new bits and pieces and ive had a play with geo and ride height so lets see whats what now....
