Took my time to be honest checking injector colours and coils. Got a few subtle differences like some blanking and custom mounts that ive swapped over from original engine.
Still gotta do the clutch cant find my clutch aligning tool so will prob use the old gb!
Prop will be ready for pick up at 4.30pm in bristol which is an hour drive so gonna chance it and get there for 4pm see if i can beat the friday madness of bristol. Wish i still had a motorbike strapped it on me back and weave!

See how i feel when get back whether i get it in no point rushing now....still gotta drill my new engine mount holes so need to be bang on.

bit concerned about 1 oil cooler length might be 2 short by 10mm or so time will see.

Apart from clutch engine ready to go in.

3 hour round trip to Bristol to get prop just in time before they shut. In loose but now correct with correct clearance in sleeve and heavy duty uj\'s. Good for 400 bhp apparently.

close! Lost my centralising at gearbox so engine in on mount and centralise back.

ha ha i can confirm a dead gearbox is not a good clutch aligning tool!...good for checking alignment after tightening up but no good for setting as moves when you pull the heavy lump out. good knows where that kit is! Slow start today other things todo but on it now.

Got to mark and drill engine mounts. raise slightly, slide em in and mounted.

It was a :censored::censored::censored::censored::censored: to engage on gearbox.

But allgood so far.

Got a clutch..thought id better do that b4 getting excited...got 1 mount done. Thats my datum. Electrical system check good on this engine. Everybody fingers xd pls.

Not to day 2nd mount and manifold fouling had to lift out again...but all back in sat on the mounts. Ive just run out of energy for today. Rad pipes oil filter housing alternator connect up oil cooler see if hose reaches fluids and ready. Dun in shower and beer time....photos to follow...had some much fun.

This side cant get manifold on if mount on and vice versa. lift engine and poke through.
loom out through front perfect, no messing with engine loom plug straight into pcm

Make sure you get oil pressure, fuels pressure etc before you start it.
