If you get the spray pattern fine enough then the erosion of the blades (it\'s not melting, if your intake is hot enough to melt turbine wheels you\'ve got immense problems) is minimal and you will get a cooler intake as well as cooler combustion and lower CCP (means you can run more boost).

Apparently putting details of your car spec in your signature means the nice folks on exile-rotorsport think you\'re a fool.  I can think of no higher compliment!

So why the people invent the per turbo saying in there website they not responsible for any damage happen after you install the kit especially the blades.I just played it safe and buy normal jet spray in elbow and will work fine I think :)

As above if the atomisation of water is good you shouldn\'t have problems. Pre turbo increases the compressor map effeicency ( you know the graph in maths lessons with a cut in half squashed onion on it. I have no idea how you read it though haha

Pic of what I\'m on about
if i had 8 hour to cut down a tree. i`d spend 6 sharpening the axe

Is to late now to change my mind bought the devil own and it should works fine,do I need to change the spark plugs at all or upgrade them ?

skybusr34

I lost an engine because of water injection. It was close to throttle body on a greddy elbow. It wetted the spark and killed it. Expensive

So what\'s you suggest where shall I locate the jet I\'m scared now to fit the kit if it\'s kill my engine,
How bout I fit the jet in air filter like the pre turbo setup and spary 100% water is that possible ?

skybusr34

I\'m no expert mate. Just voicing my concerns. It may have been case that mine had a too big water nossle. It\'s still in car just disconnected now lol.

Have a chat on phone with some of these companies and see what they say. I like idea of pre turbo for that reason alone.

Fair enough pal what size nozzle you running before ,I got mine do4 comes with kit.

Don\'t run a kit pre turbo that isn\'t designed for pre turbo, it won\'t atomise finely enough and will eat your inlet wheel.

Pre turbo kits preferably need to be atomised by air which is driven from the turbo. There is a guy trying to add an air nozzle into his aquamist kit to make it as fine of a spray as possible. The distance away from the inlet wheel effects what happens too.

Aliakeel

I just contact Bruce the guy I bought the kit from devil own and he recommend to locate the nozzle 6-8 inch away from the throttle butterfly and it should be fine and keeping my current spark plugs.

The twin power should be powerful enough to ignite your mixture up too 1.4 bar with water injection, but I don\'t think you need to go that high

Aliakeel

Yea I agree I will go for 1.2 or 1.3 bar max I don\'t want to stress the engine as is street port ATM.

Aliakeel

Ok can I remove my air pump and block off the ACV as well in same time ,my ecu hks 3.2 version and no cat.  So is good idea or not?

Cheers
