Did you really want to race for slips for an Austin Maxi?  Imagine if he\'d crashed it before you took delivery!

Apparently putting details of your car spec in your signature means the nice folks on exile-rotorsport think you\'re a fool.  I can think of no higher compliment!

Brett

I was in it for the Reliant :Giggle

I\'d been practicing my double clutching on the upshift too! :rollin

You\'d only have made it if the Reliant was granny shiftin\' not double clutchin\' like he should!

nice !!

here is one i helped prepare earlier..( in 3 different engine combos )..had FD brakes and hilux diff and lots of fruit .... sadly its a cube now

Brett

That\'s very cool :D

What were the engine combos?  What version of the hilux rear end too? ;)

i helped along with various engine and efi setups

originally a 13bp with weber and i set up DFI and a bypass fuel system ( with efi spec hoses for later needs )

as pictured it was 13b extend ported and a t04b with a haltech e8 and 4 x 1000 cc injectors ran around 330 rwhp at 1 bar boost]
.. had some drama with a supposed pro shop twice making an awful mess of the ECU setup that had me back twice to setup the obvious .. very political .. :/

later under  another owner i helped put in another extend port 13b
but with t04e/66 with screamer and 12at/1600 combo with an LT10 microtech  and that was 400 rwhp at 1 bar

diff was originally out of a s1 rx7 and was remodded for the trailing arm and panhard ( different to the rx7 )
so expect its your usual rx7 suspects around 1450 ish mm

might have some pics of the diff somewhere cause i ended up breaking the car down after it had a nasty accident
( and i have pics of that too but they are distressing to vintage mazda owners )

had a quick look.. couldnt find the diff pics , im sure i took some.. these pics span from 2008-2010

a nice car in its day.. i had a soft spot for it...
there is a lovely example that is unmolested and VGC that lives not far from me
and i reckon its particularly tempting beyond reminding myself i cant find much time to get to the projects i already have for myself

best of luck with the 626, be careful not to take things too far !

Brett

That looks like it got rolled?

You must have been gutted? :(

wasnt mine.. just a lot of my hard work across several owners .. so i was still annoyed.. but it gets worse

it was just the middle car on a daisy chain of disaster where i helped one bloke way too much ( for free ) and got taken a bit for being such a soft touch

he was a hazard to himself ( with his driving and his work on the cars )

Brett

That\'s a shame :(

Jason and his crew have done so much for me - I\'m worried anout driving it in case I bend it and all their work goes to waste... kinda told him if anyone writes it off I want it to be him! :Giggle
