Apparently putting details of your car spec in your signature means the nice folks on exile-rotorsport think you\'re a fool.  I can think of no higher compliment!

Also got a shiney K&N oil filter, magnetic sump plug and new oil pressure/water temp/volt guages :)

Think i may have just ordered the same ebaytastic rev counter!  Cheapest tacho with a shift light i could find with 11k rpm :)

Brett

It works really well - it\'s a tiny bit slow, so I\'ve set the shift light 500rpm lower than it needs to be :)

Saw this at Super 7 today, the noise is awesome (in a good way).

Very cool, and out of the ordinary (never seen anything like it before).

Brett

Thanks Tom :)
It was a bit of a wild ride over in the rain - but a good laugh! :Giggle

Your FD looks very tidy - definitely a keeper! :D

Brett, did you have to do anything different when wiring this up? I ask as it only has settings for 4/6/8 cylinder vehicles...

Brett

I used 4cyl setting and the tacho output from.the Apexi power Fc :)

cool i ll do the same... (not the apexi fc - i\'m not that flash lol!)

So... started to get a drive train vibration... (apparently - not driven it for awhile, but my dad took it for a spin at the weekend)...gets worse with speed.  Not had a chance to get underneath it yet and see whats occurred, but I reckon it could be:

Bolts come loose/out on the center bearing mount?
Flange bolts loose/missing on the UJ\'s?
Weld letting go on the prop adapter?

Thoughts?

Sounds bearing. Can you tell where it\'s coming from?

Grant Monkhouse

Does it go away if you push the clutch in when moving?

Brett

Not even tried it yet - I\'m basing this from a text off my dad.. I\'m hoping it\'s a sheared/lost bolt... (I think it\'s unlikely the center prop bearing has failed - but you never know...)

Yeah - but if it\'s loose that means its started to sheer its bolts, which would be a bad thing :(
