Really? I\'ve got a blitz access, I am expecting to be able to use this IC with that ecu?

TiddlesRX7

Yeah it\'ll run it so don\'t worry too much. I was using the stock ECU at the time I installed mine. Just be aware that it won\'t be a correct map for your car. You might want to look into sourcing a stand alone or a programmable piggy back ECU as your next mod. Thats what I was getting at.

Just had a look at my ebay. The adapter I got was 70mm - 50mm 90 degree bend. I had to trim the length of it a fair bit to get it to sit right.

This is for the compressor elbow thing right? Does the BOV-IC pipe re-use the stock one?

TiddlesRX7

Depends where your running your BOV from tbh. Mine runs off from the stock position just above the turbo.

On the inlet side I am running a stock size replacement silicone hose. On the out let Im running the above elbow onto the Greddy compression tube. You won\'t be able to fit the intercooler without an aftermarket compression tube. Well not without modding the intercooler outlet. The stock compression tube inlet is at 45 degrees (pointing towards the bulkhead of the car). Meaning it points away from the ARC intercooler outlet. The Greddy or similar compression tube is straight so only needs a 90 degree hose to couple up.

Hope that makes sense!

Yeah that fine, I can get hold of a greedy tube easy enough. I will look for a custom 90 degree bend as you\'ve suggested. I was going to get a silicone IC hose kit, but seen as I will only be able to use 1 of them £50+ is bit steep. I assume I could find a 90 degree bend in the right size that will do job of the stock one but with added colour!

Thanks for your help Ade, really appreciate it :Thumbs-up

It\'s ok mate, anytime. If you need pic\'s or anything just shout. It\'ll give me a reason to get it out of the garage.

I intend to make it extra shiney before fitment :D

Want to give me some money and your address? :D

End of the month and i will matey ;)

I run a Blitz Access ECU - the intercooler should be fine with that chipped ECU - having said that, if you do go bigger turbo you\'ll need larger injectors on the secondaries - and then either a piggy back like emanage or a full standalone ECU.

If you go emanage - go with the ultimate - it\'s far more rotary friendly than it\'s blue or gold predecessors. :driving

My current engine plans are to fit an uprated induction set up, the intercooler, a straight through exhaust system, the ported wastegate and actuator (hopefully i can come accross one for sale) and of course the Blitz ecu. Do you think this will be okay on the stock fueling set up? I\'m hoping not to have to mess about with that just yet ;)

It would be designed for OEM injectors (unless stated on the ECU) its the same as my Knightsports one, basically allows you to run the max 0.9bar of boost on max fueling and ignition timing etc on the stock system.

What fuel is over there btw? Best to run high octane especially as if its a jap ecu map it will be mapped for 100RON.
