i know guys, was gutted...
 
well the motor held up really well apart from a little scoring on the front housing which will need replacing. era said that it ran lean on the front rotor which caused the damage. it was also really dry and has had big heat around the plug holes??
 
rebuild parts ordered along with some scr seals and some more porting
 
i know everyone hates farbon but the spoiler was cracked so i couldnt keep it the way it was. came out good apart from a couple of creases/bubbles. its only just resting on there for the time being before final fitting/adjustment.

Liking the look of the top spoiler Karl, I\'ve always toy\'d with the idea of covering mine in carbon but was never sure if it would look ok. Turns out it does!

when i first saw your\'s rob, i wanted one straight away but forgot and then found one the other week you dont see many around at all.

black is the new look but i broke the alternator trying to strip it down, forgot about the lock pin on the back so a new one is needed :o
 
stripped the turbo and the rear is completely knackered by the looks of it
might be just cheaper to get another turbo?? :confused:

Did you paint the IC and rad black? Looks like a graphite grey, looks good though! What happened to the diffuser?

yeh its matt black, needs another coat or two. Took it off for a more cleaner look plus i kept on gettimg stuck due to the ride height lol

Wow what a nice project this is,took me ages to look it trough.
Very nice eye for detail as well and a lot of time and efford are put in to this car.

thanks for the comments. there will be an update very soon i hope. turbo is going off for repair and ive machines the primary rail for the 850\'s. just need to get them cleaned.

just waiting on the turbo to be rebuilt and the primary injectors to come back from cleaning and its pretty much ready to go back in.

new leading coil ordered, blanking plate made up for omp removal and hockey puk spec engine mounts.
