Bad times guys.
Very sad to say the duke has to go but dont have enough time to fully restore it and it seems like even less time to drive it lately since my last post i havnt really had a problem worth noting the car has been running fine at least twice a week but only round town or to my friends house an back hehe.
Had to think long and hard about this for a while now but it comes down to not having enough time or enough funds to drive or fix the problems of any of my 4 cars so selling 3 of them keeping the battleship as both me and my wife can use that.
If anyone is interested in the duke give me a shout before the listing is over.
I also have the MR2 going cheap as i would rather it go to a good home than the scrap man has been stood for 5 years and needs a lot of work i have been offered £180 for scrap.
Thanks for all your help guys i will return with another 1st gen someday but probably in 10 or so years when my little girl has grown up.

Sorry to hear that Rob, good luck.

PS In 10 years or so I\'ll be too old for mine so it could be just about ready for you.

sanbob

I\'ll keep that in mind cheers mate

good luck with the sale Rob.... you\'ve been very honest about it and you shouldn\'t have much trouble selling it with a mot.
I had to bale out of 1st gens years ago when the kids were little but as someone once said, 1st gens are like the mafia.... once you\'re in, you\'re in for life.... hope you return to the fold as well someday.

I just managed to get everything sorted in time for a run down to Beaulieu today. It felt really good to be back in the car again, although a little stressful as it has been over 3 years since it has been on the road. Spent half the journey watching all the gauges, and listening for strange noises, but everything was ok.

Did you take any pic\'s at Beaulieu ? if so can you post them up so we can see what we missed.
