I do like the car that dragon is doing for you and I\'m a big fan now that you have taken away the hydros. Even if you still have it painted pink!!

Quote from: Nigel-Power;763418Who is doing the work for you? and have you paid for the cost of the project up front? I doubt it mate. I have already paid for the cost of the build, hence Im complaining about the time it\'s taking, but never mind... it won\'t be long now I hope.

Probably best to think about it like this;
You have paid up-front for an agreed price, the work will always take as long as it takes, and the fact it is taking longer means that you are getting even better value for money as the car to be built to the very best standard..

..I would understand more if you were complaining about the build time if it kept increasing and you were paying by the hour :)
Crafting something custom that is a part of you always takes time, especially if the plan is changed even in minor ways, it has a habit of having a big knock-on effect!

It\'s v.good to see someone with your ideas and finances putting them into an FD! :Thumbs-up

Quote from: PDale;763490I can understand paying for parts up front, thats a given. But surely labour is an ongoing expense and can be paid monthly or whatever in installments, no? As you say, already agreed terms so no use crying about it.

"The only problem I have with the build is that, it is taking far too  long than it should, and Im not happy with the progress of it all."

No, not complaining at all.... :Talking1

Maybe I am a c**t, what are YOU going to do about it? I\'ve been called worse :chat

Anyway, I\'m interested in the build of your car. Happy to see a rex being pampered rather than broken and scrapped!

listen mate, I dont\'t know what your problem is, If you think im some teenager and will drag on this silly meaningless arguement with you, I\'m not. Don\'t be judgemental and make stupid comments about people\'s character based on one comment. That\'s not very intelligent of you, secondly you have misinterpreted my previous comment to Mir where I said " I doubt you have paid for the cost of the build up front" this wasn\'t aimed at Mir suggesting that he has no money as such, I meant it in a different way, meaning a lot of garages wouldn\'t charge up front presumably!!!! not that Mir has no money (how th ffff would I know that?). Anyway, you do come across as a c**t by the way you even misinterpreted my post :Talking1 and now draggin it on. As I said I\'m here to make friends and share my enthusiasm about cars.

where my car is currently being built, its setup as pay as i go, i dont earn much money and as such im working with the builder so that he gets paid and repeat business from me and that if i run out of money then i can just get the vehicle back and finish it myself instead of being left with a massive bill with no way of paying it off.

Ive never been to a tuner/garage where i have had to pay in advance, always pay on collection/completion

Any uPdates on your car then TT?

That\'s exactly what my point was when I said to Mir "I doubt you have paid up front" Yeah pay as the work is done is the best way. Well as of now, there are extra work that\'s being done to the car, and Ross has been kind enough not to have charged me for it up front, but that\'s for little extras here and there and some additional labour  :Hammer
