So a week has gone since i got home from england, and not much has been done. But i have lifted the car abit in the front. And made a intake box for the air filter.

It\'s a temp one, untill we can figure out a good way to make one in carbon fiber.

Oh and i had a visit on thursday from a US magazine called 0-60, they like the sound of the car :)

So here is some pictures.

this thread just keeps getting better and better, pure rotary-porn!

are you going to mount velocity stacks inside the intake box or just mate it directly to the throttle bodies?

Yes, already have them.

Will post a picture once everything is done.

How\'s your car doing?

So i finished my temp intake box today. Christ it was difficult to get the trumpets on again with the box in between :( I need to make a better patent for the carbon fiber box :(

I need a patent where i can mount the carbon fiber box on after i got the trumpet on. And now it\'s abit dificult to change the plugs as well. So need to find a good way to get the intake box on and off easy.

Well here is a short video of the reving of the car with the new box :)

Jantore, Maybe you can get some ideas from these guys or even contact them. http://www.advancedinductionresearch.com/photo_gallery.htm

I think the single inlet would be nice too, and the round design would give you more access to the plugs?

Holy mother of god

hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

i took the seven out for a test spin today on the road, before i head to a drag strip tomorrow, where they have this drifting event this weekend. Where im going to test the car on the track they have put up :)

all i can say is ...., it\'s sick sick sick sick and so freaking loud eheh :)

matt forget about driving your car on the road, ul get pulled over by every cop you can see. it\'s impossible to keep it under 4000 rpm, as it will just buck and backfire the entire way hehehe

but damn it\'s sweet going up the range :) pulls so damn strong the entire way :)

and the intake box helped so much, it\'s alot more quite now then before. will see if i can have a video tomorrow of it driving on the drift track. i wont be drifting tho.

And black flagged on most track days too :evillaugh

A small test today, on a drag strip where they have made a drifting "track" out of cones. To bad my camera crashed, so only have cell phone movies.

sounds like a bloody race car,  good to see you having fun,   do you know what your db\'s are yet?
400 BHP - 650 KG\'s = 616 BHP Per Ton of Rotary Power

That\'s the way to do it! :Thumbsup!

Speedworks

Then engine peaks quite quick, maybe you would be better off with some longer gearing to improve putting the power on the wheels?

don\'t think that\'s a proble. it got quite long first and 2nd gear. the problem was that there had been a drifting event there, and there was alot of rubber and dirt on the track. cold tires, 40 psi of pressure in the tires and not adjusted camber settings after lifting the car 1 inch.
