The world\'s gone mad. I know they rot like bu**ery underneath but these last two scrappers don\'t look that bad and would surely have been saved if they\'d been made anywhere in the midlands with an engine out of a tractor or even a fire pump? What folly to throw these away - the more I see of them the better I like them...maybe that\'s the nub of the problem!

My favourite thread by the way David - great stuff. You undoubtedly deserve the MRC public service award for 2008/9! (Anyone reading who knows if there is one:- Please take that as a nomination!)

Thanks jinx, and I thought I was becoming a nerdy pain in the jacksy! World domination of the RX7 1st Gen great number plate search will be my next goal.
The picture above shows the best side of the B Reg Scrapper. The other sides on e bay are a right mess. Gone down a wall or hit a tree or both.

Keep it up Stu....There\'s still a few on my list with owners and locations but no Registrations, whilst I\'ve a fair few with Registrations but no owners to put with \'em. Stands to reason some of them are one and the same car...every bit of information puts a bit more of the puzzle together.

Now up to 108 Series 3\'s, 32 series 2\'s and still 10 only Series 1\'s. These are all road going or good project cars on SORN, not breaking cars.
80% of the cars have Registrations so no duplication possible there. The other 20%, particularly the 20 or so Series 3\'s without numbers, maybe 10 duplications possible??

Hi David, don\'t forget Neville-just been woken from winter hibernation today like a disgruntled teenager but started first time. He needs a fresh MOT (asap) but he\'s ready for another summer! Been a touch off radar as i\'ve been throwing all my attention at my business and family but he\'s back!

I\'ll dig out the photos of my previous 1st gen that more resembled a tea bag than anything else and let you have the reg details of that one-needless to say it\'s now long gone even Tim @ RX Motors couldnt find a use for it LOL.

Pictures of both will follow when my membership status gets upgraded.:Laugh

Hi Captain, good to see you back. Neville has been top of my list of Series 2\'s since I started the register but I never had his Reg. I think it\'s true to say that if we had ever passed on the road I would have said to the wife \'thats Captain Biz and lil\' old Neville flying along\'.

Logged on 15 mins after you to report this one Stu. Dam and blast, you got it 1st. E bay ref 120402614410. Ad says 29,000 miles but stood awhile.

Also on E bay is a Gold 1st Gen Series 2 Elford...Not the stolen one... That\'s certain because this one was on in January as well, I picked it up then. E bay Ref 130298508198.

This might work, then again probably not LOL.:o

No it didnt LOL I give up till I get a lesson in how to use image hosting sites.

Quote from: David Nock;589622Yep, I use an Apple but windows machines must have similar facilities.
First \'export\' your pic from the picture library to desktop but RESIZE as you do that, down to 1000 pixels or less on the largest dimension (the second dimension will auto resize to less than that). Don\'t forget to give an easy name for selecting from your desktop clutter.
Then on this forum, use the Go Advanced facility.....Type your Message.....then Manage Attachments......then select the pic from your desktop list which comes up.
Press to attach, takes a bit of uploading time, then post. Easy as that, it\'s the resizing that\'s important, otherwise it won\'t upload.

Does this help?
