Mixed fortunes today, Geff and Maxy baby of Reworx crew cleaned up the map @ 10psi gained an extra 11rwhp

Went for 11.5psi (0.8 BAR) climbing to 415rwhp at 6500rpm (just before peak torque) they had to let off the throttle as afr was 12:1 at 100% injector duty, this due to the size of the Bridge and overlap eating fuel near peak torque. Pretty sure if went to 8000rpm we would have registered 430rwhp at 0.8 BAR.

So need bigger or additional injectors to take us safely past peak torque. This will have wait until after Japshow finale.

Will be running 11psi next weekend, target would be a mid 11 second run, I be happy with that.

good results mark,  i thought your fuel system was sorted to take you to 1.2/3 bar?  

i\'ll be visiting them soon for a dyno session. I\'ll be hoping for 250 rwhp

Nice one blitz,are you going to run extra injectors and is the motec capable,if not i am sure i have an hks aic lying about somewhere.Oh and here are my figures from a while back.

well its all to do with flow and effciency, this setup flows so much air but the overlap wastes fuel when its hitting peak torque, if we got past peak torque injector demand would have been much less.
The fuel system as in pumps lines ets are fine its just we need more injector now, Geff saw this happen with Stripy and another car they have in at the moment runs 4x1500cc

With streetports you dont see this type of demand on fuel, but this is such a big bridge its just eats fuel

thats strange same fuel system thats on a half bridge i showed you the pic of thats running at 2.2 bar With no problem! And thats with the pumps in the wrong place according to some people! Lol

yeah it surprised Geff as well, yeh still got that pic compared it with my ports , mine are larger from what I can tell and the port closing is different but im no expert on porting by any means , you going to be at the Jap show finale J?

Yep,J will be at japshow finale with his car,(japshow 2012 that is).:Giggle

My car now weighs a little less than 1100kgs,that is with 2 front seats,rear seats,carpets,headlining,full cage etc.But unfortunately with the current economic climate i havent had the funds to finish the engine work.Over the past month i have had to cut back alot and re-evaluate things in my business.Hopefully things will sort itself out in the next couple of months and i will be able to come out with something a bit special for next year.

I will be at Japshow for both days and am really looking forward to it,especially the pro cars(John bradshaw went into the 7"s today at santapod,his best was 7.78),and of course to see if jeff or chris can beat ross"s record.Chris is running at shakespeare tomorrow,james ran today but broke another gearbox,dooooh.I will be in my subaru so i could give you a race,but that would only be for a drink:guinness.:wiggle

lol 2012 it will be longer than that for me to race a car up the strip i am building one but i wont drive it as have no interest in the 1/4 i do track days i will be at jap show though so see ya next

Final mapping has been done on my car and it survived and didnt break whoohoo lol
470bhp at the wheels , 555 at the fly at 1.2 BAR boost, so comparing like for like on Reworx dyno with my old configuration have gained 20bhp at less boost (1.5 psi less)
