Mark,

Erdin had a r85 not a ta45, and Ant should be in number one spot as everyman and his dog knows that reworx car never had 571rwhp

I think Jmaes Wilday has a dyno sheet of some 700+ bhp but it does not mean that what he really got. lol

Most James\' car has made on RE:Worx\' dyno was late 400s, lol. And it\'s run 10s, doesnt sound too unreasonable? couple of similar hp cars have also made similiar hp on other peoples dynos recently. Make of it what you will. Btw, Ant\'s figures are also from the same dyno so you better choose another more deserved car from the list Bri :)

Edit: hp numbers are just that - numbers, anyone with a half a brain knows they will often seesaw from dyno to dyno. The rolling road is an incredibly useful tuning tool which is why people pay lots of money for them; the figures at the end are a by-product which when compared to another cars are of very little value. Cant help those with e-peens to feed tho ;-)

I was referring to this thread where he went on a dyno in Birmingham.

Not slating your dyno dynamics so no need to get protective over it.
I just don\'t believe you made a genuine 571rwhp on stripey that\'s all, end of the day it\'s no skin off of my nose if it did, and no skin off of yours if it didn\'t.

Sometimes comes down to driver ability too, James is a very good drag strip racer his launches as spot on !!!!

ReWorx also used a very good driver as well all know, and same goes for Ross who himself is a good driver.

You can have all the power in the world but if you cant launch properly then you wont get decent times :D

Aye, I know the dyno you are on about (its now closed down i think?). And you\'re right Bri, theres no nose skin to be lost here. I was just clearing up the fact it wasnt 700 or any where near at RE:Worx, and that (not for the first time) people take dyno numbers far too seriously... :driving

Catch up soon Bri :D

What makes you question that sort of figure brian?with an et of 9.8 and terminal of 143,with all factors taken into account, approx weight with driver etc, this figure seems about right,if not a little low.

DRAGON

Dont worry about it anyway guys, we all know what the most powerful Rotary engine in the UK is. 160.5mph terminal Speed  :Laugh :Laugh

BlitzBoy

haha yes Ross you do have a point, so when u gonna slam that thing on a dyno and go for number one spot in the "Pub talk" table :D ?

Not going to bother, tried it once, I didnt like mappping on the dyno.
Not interested in dynos at all.
If someone tells me they have 500hp im not not that impressed, but if they say they have a 130mph terminal then I am impressed!

What a refreshing statement for a change on here!

All these \'Dyno days\' the queens have in here.... cheaper if they all just turned up naked and measured themselves quickly so everyone can get on the Track and walk the walk! :Yawn

some people do all 3!

dyno, strip and circuit  :D   i may even get my tape measure out the next time i go to the dyno!
400 BHP - 650 KG\'s = 616 BHP Per Ton of Rotary Power

That\'s the way to do it! :Thumbsup!
