Crazy Eddie

If you\'re happy, I\'m happy that\'s what it is all about.
Also before confirming Insurance go through most of the Insurance Companies listed in this section they should be a good place to see.
All the best with it :cheers

Hi Beast,
The Sagaris is beyond belief....:guinness
Saying that, the FD is a unique experience to drive too.:InLove
I think my wife wants me to keep the FD because she doesn\'t want it to sell for peanuts....thats fine with me!:Laugh

beast20vt

they are awesome cars aint they and really controllable for a 400bhp rwd car with no traction control or abs,i was well suprised.it easily had the measure of the 911gt3 that had a go:Thumbsup!

yeah am just doign initial research so far so will be asking lots of silly questions over the next few months:)

PETE SMITH

Here they are.........:WaveBye

beast20vt

very similar shape aint they and quite a similar car.like the colour too btw.my mate pauls is the orange/gold colour which looks alot better in the flesh than in pictures.

Cant believe how nervous i was picking up the "Sag"
8 yrs of  FD ownership Foibles prepared me for this.:Giggle
It really did!!....Can i sell the FD??.............Recent prices suggest it would be a sin.:2ee
I think i\'ll swap betwixt the SAG and FD:evillaugh :driving

RAW

very same situation apart from i am 27, but A Plan (Thatcham branch) were the cheapest for me. £650 fully comp for my second year with an sp30 and 4 yrs no claims.

the jackel

I use Admiral. I\'m 26 with 5 years NCB. Parked on my drive and i pay about 350 with protected NCB

beast20vt

admiral have changed alot since i was with them then as i paid about £1200 on a fiat coupe 20vturbo at 25 and they wouldnt let me even lower the car!!

beast20vt

£347.02 with aon limited to 5000miles a year:)

memski

Just want to say thanks to Oddball for that number, got my insurance down from 550 with aon to 350 with Norton, full comp on modded single tubby fd.

oddball

Glad to see you got a result memski

beast20vt

maybe i sghould be trying them too to see if they are cheaper than aon.the quote i got from aol was for a fully standard car as i havnt got one yet so couldnt list any mods or anything

memski

I\'m sure they all vary depending on your postcode, mods and who you are. I\'ve been with aon for a few years straight now, so their quotes aren\'t as competitive as other companies where I\'m a new client. They knocked 75 quid off as soon as I called and mentioned I\'d had a better quote! No questions asked, but still not good enough. The Mrc sub has more than payed off, and Norton wouldn\'t allow the wife to drive the car either. Result :cheers
