3rd generation RX-7's / A quick what\'s it worth?

i think you\'ll struggle with 6k in the current market, you\'ll need a very specific buyer especially when you\'re in rebuilt big single territory with that sort of price.

sorry if im being an idiot... but

are you saying you sold him a shell with an engine in it with a promise of him returning the engine and now its missing parts?

oh looks way better now, something about it doesn\'t suit it being high. Just doesn\'t look particularly like a gt wing even though it is? maybe its the colour

Quite a few guys over the pond run big power on stock ports and seem to do quite well. Does your engine really need porting?

RX-8 News and Information / Rotary Ends?

i thought audi gave up with this?

I think it\'s pretty much been decided that 2 stroke engines are much more suitable for range extenders

i wouldn\'t use the ground as a reference point personally. I\'d suggest measuring the stock arms (off of the car), the height difference between the top and bottom subframe mounts, height and offset (assuming there is some sort of offset for castor) between top and bottom mounts on the hub. Distance between the mounts on the left and right side. And maybe try and work out the angle of one of the arms, suppose this angle doesn\'t need to be too accurate as this will change with different spring rates etc.

sometimes i forget that we are literally talking about milimeters. For some reason i had the uimage of the wheel being like a foot deep into the arch haha.

that would be weak my friend.

i think i ran 9J et 18\'s and they were pretty much flush. They had 20 mm spacers though, can\'t remember if the 18 was with or without the spacer.

Also im not sure about FD\'s but FC\'s definately require lower offset at the rear to give the same fitment front and back

Rotary and General Chit-Chat / BT Vision
May 07, 2012, 02:24:04 PM
i had bt vision. It\'s awful. They try to chrage you for stuff on 4od thats free on 4od. Also when i had it there was no HD. Also they generally try and charge you for what you watch rather than channels which can work out silly expensive. Sky and virgin are the only ones worth considering

Quote from: m1tch;8219952 step or properly sized engine ports for the turbo you want to spool :) engine life starts to degrade at around 1.4bar, on a massive turbo you have other stuff to worry about at that power :rollin

so theres lots of 500 bhp engines doing 70k miles?
