The Profec B will control the boost better than the Apexi boost controller kit.

I have had this from a couple of people who turn their our FD\'s.

You need the boost controller for the Power FC. Its is the same boost controller Apexi use for the AVC-R. What I did was search through eBay for an AVC-R that had a broken display and got the lot for $100 from the states.

Apexi want almost as much just for the boost controller as they do for the complete AVC-R so if you can find just the boost controller or a cheap complete AVC-R your on a winner.

But as Fish says, there are better controllers out there for boost. I will be using the Apexi unit purely because I am using the Datalogic software and want it all in one unit. I used to have an AVC-R in my last car and it worked great.

I have the proper Apexi boost kit for the Apexi, but am thinking it might be worth swapping to the Profec B.

Yes this is in use with a datalogit. That just reads boost, which is set by any make on controller. I.E. It does\'nt have to be Apexi to work. ;)

So will any boost controller work with the PFC then? I was under the impression you had to have the apexi controller for it to work and be controlled by the PFC?

What signal output does the power FC need to read off 0-5V??

You can use any boost controller you want with the PFC and still log data on FCEdit.
The map sensor displays the amount of boost you are creating and that data is logged. On the commander or via  FCEdit you untick the box that says seq. turbo control and set commander boost setting a minimum of .25 Bar above the amount of boost you want using external boost controller.
