fd water temp

what temp do the fans come in at,had a temp of 92 on the commander 2 day,turned the engine off cos i dont no how hot the water is supost 2 get,

it depends cos you can set pfc to when ever you want the fans to come on.  92 isnt a problem, stock ones dont come until 93.

I gather most fd\'s fans dont come on until over 90oC so 92 would have been ok, most likely the water temp will go to 95oC and then start coming down again to rest at around 85 - 90 depending on the warmth of the day.

Hope that helps, also dont switch the car off and then on again as the temp will jump higher.

Not 100% but believe that the 1st fan comes on at 95 and the 2nd at 100 as standard (can be altered with PFC and datalogit).

I normally see around 87 while on the motorway but it will creep up to 100 ish while stuck in traffic.

i let it run till the fans came in 2day,
both fans came in at 99 went off at 90 but still went down top 87,

can i make the fans come in a bit lower with the commander?
