I can appreciate the workmanship going into this but it just looks so wrong?

I think these were made by a specialist in Germany. They were quite absurdly expensive conversions, so only a two-digit number of these were made. Agree it looks somehow wrong, but to be fair, so does the factory spec FC cabrio. I'm quite intrigued by that boot lid. Wonder where that's from...

The Pacific Avatar convertibles done in US used a Mazda 626 boot lid.  This apparently had the right curve to fit the FB tail.
