Told you those brave Yorkshiremen would be taking on the Cosmo rustbucket, didn't I?  :D

The Australian bloke at least has one good car among the three in his workshop to use as a reference! Yorkshire's team have rusty rotary form but even they might struggle to guess what shape stuff is supposed to be in the face of some of the ragged lower edges.

I'm not sure I have seen all of the Australian episodes - YouTube's algorithms found it for me - but I think the car in the middle is his - the others are customer's. Only the 'good' one is staying stock.

Apparently the car had gone around the world with various owners and last came in from South Africa. obviously nobody else was brave enough to take it on  ;)

It's getting there.

Steve as an MRC member for many years and along the way restored and documented it here on MRC, which has led to Steve setting up his own restoration company.

He eventually sold the RX-3 to Mazda UK and its pictured below.

Steve never lost his love of the Rotary and always wanted a Cosmo, plus he now owns several other old skool Rotarys as well.
All the best Clive
