Sad day today after hearing that John Clark "Clarky" one of our long term members and one of the nicest true gentlemen I have ever been privileged enough to know has passed away.

Lisa and myself will always miss the huge smile he welcomed us with every time we met at the many show and social events he attended with us over many years.

Proper old time hot rodder, till he found Rotarys in the form of his gorgeous Red FD that  he meticulously modified himself. This led to then owning an FB, the RX-8 and then a silver.

We were so looking forward to seeing John again this year but sadly that is not to be.

Condolences to Johns family and all who knew him.
RIP John, Lisa and myself will miss you along with many other enthusiasts

Very sad news indeed. I remember John and his wife well from many MRC meets and MRC Christmas Meals a few years back. A real gentleman and rotary enthusiast, he will be sorely missed. RIP John.

I postes this "statement" to facebook, and Ill post it here too, cause I cant figure out anything bettet to say

"Lost in words, cant believe it...  And my condolences to family...
Was true honor to meet him few times and honor to call that gentleman my friend. Hopefully you sir, can find a nice stump of tree, and smoke your cigarette in peace. Good bye my friend "...

We were joking about smoking cause seemed like we were onlyones that smoked anymore.

At Billings Rotary meet, we couldnt find good smoking place, so Clarky desided that old stump of tree was our spot.

When I was coming to UK or Netherlands, John always remembered to ask me if I have enough fags with me.

Surely, smile of this old school car gentleman will be missed

Btw, does anyone know what happened?
