I'm very interested to see the specs on this model, and the price! I like the concept as a bridge between ICE and pure BEV, taking away the issue of range anxiety and lack of reliable/available public charging infrastructure.

As of today, Its Here finally and there's a Euro version.
Sadly years ago I did try and get the guys at Mazda to disclose that because of emissions the only way the Rotary would come back would be to power battery's, no answer came the response every time, till now

Very cool tech. Been trying very hard to like the walrus shape of the MX30, but in vain, although it's far from the worst-looking barge out there. Why do all electric cars have to be heffalumps?

Price not too bad wrt other hybrids on the market.

Claimed range of combined 400 miles, with battery plus petrol, with the option to charge or refuel is very attractive. Range 53 on battery alone, not bad.

Special model limited to 400 in UK, plus base model at same price as current MX-30 EV with max 124 mile range.
